In case you missed out on that glorious Borderlands 2 pricing error.

Game just uses Uplay DRM which which would be the same if you bought it from Steam. So basically Gamersgate is the most 'DRM free' version of the game. In case you are worried, no the game doesn't have always online DRM that got abolished almost 2 years ago. The coupon just grants a 5% off bonus.

      Yeah sites get hammered as the bargain is on other forums including CheapAssGamer.

      As long as you add it to cart it should be good to go even if they fix the price of it.

          You still have to even if you buy it on Steam. Also Uplay is fairly non-intrusive unlike Origin, Steam and other client based services. Its more of a patching platform and for adding your friends across one service. You don't even have to install a Steam/Origin like client when playing Ubisoft games, its more akin to GFWL but without the nastyness of GFWL.

          but my steam collection is massive, installing another service is annoying and I can store my steam games on external hard drive, not so sure with this one

          you can store your games anywhere you like with origin and uplay.

          2.4TB of steam games on drive, 100gb of origin and 24gb of uplay on another.

    Heads up to those who want to experience the multiplayer - it's not very good. Lots of bugs and very small player base.

          As I said, just because it wasn't accessible to you, doesn't mean there was no deal (your first comment was 2 hours into the deal, after all). The site was under massive load - getting in was luck of the draw, yes, but it was still possible. I too was trying to access it relatively early on and have seemingly failed, but you don't see me bitching about it.

          BTW, there are rules concerning neg votes… so no, you can't vote anyway you like - there are guidelines.

          Dude please butt out. I voted negative on this because I spent hours trying to get in. I posted the first post after trying for ages to get in. You have no idea when I started trying. As I said in my view its no deal because it was unobtainable by me. I see a number of lucky people did get it.     I had bought this on PC when it came out. Was annoyed by uPlay, not that it's particularly bad, just that it's another service that does same thing as Steam but with less games available and a LOT less features. Actually the more I think about it he more useless it seems. In the end these Steam alternatives (Origin, uPlay etc) are probably just a way for the game publishers to keep the prices higher for longer.

    Anyway, ended up getting it on PS3 (perhaps pricing error on PSN 'cos was $32 then went up to $80 something). Still has the uPlay but a lot less intrusive ie sign in once and never bother again. I don't see why it was even included on the console version anyway.

    Just logged into my GG account and the key is back. I kinda figured that something like this would happen as I doubt you could legally sell something, accept payment, deliver the product, then cancel the sale, refund the money and then forceably remove the item from the customer.

    Also, there's probably a heap of keys that are in 'limbo'.. as in, have they been used, haven't they been used, have they been traded somewhere else etc..

    So those that bought Future Soldier got a total freebee.. Free key and money returned :)
