Thanks japius.
Agreed … I spoke with the author (he's a really nice guy) - and he said he is slowly but surely working his way through updating all games to be high resolution (inc. Robot Wants Kitty). I don't know if that means iPad support or not.
My favourite time waster on the iPhone is still Robot Wants Kitty ;)

I purchased this addon, but didn't think it was worth it. I managed to complete the game without the compass - and I found the compass sometimes misled me. It didn't mean left, it meant up and left, or teleport somewhere else.
I'd save the dollar … like a true OzBargainer ;)Oh one other thing: I used to own an iPhone 4. I upgraded. The iPhone 4 was far too dark (dynamic contrast?). Swordigo looks much better on iPad3/iPad4/iPhone5/iPhone4s. The game makes a lot of use of shadows… I was amazed by how much I could see of the game when I upgraded my phone!!

I'm not a big games player, but I fell in love with this app.
It's graphics are clean and simple, but not highly polished… However, it's a first rate platformer, adventure game.
The only two other games I've really taken to on the iPhone are
- Solomon's keep (a brilliant dungeon crawler) that is also FREE
- Robot Wants Kitty (a cute, but VERY addictive platformer) which is also FREE
Note: none of these games have ads. Robot Wants Kitty has one in-app purchase that I highly recommend (kitty connect at 99c) - which gives access to thousands of levels designed by other users.
I highly recommend these 3 apps to anyone that likes platformers and simple dungeon crawlers.
Note: don't let the kitty title fool you. I'm no cat lover :)
