      I just realised the 3M Free Post-it never arrived…

I guss I was lucky to be a participant of all above bargains, exept for the Dell Printer. I didn't really need one at the time, I feel regreted now..

      • +1 vote

That's true, I have also not yet received those post-its. It has been 8 months…

    • +2 votes

      Hmm… I didn't receive my post it notes either…………

I'm going with the Dell, Simply for giving people upgrades when they didn't have to.

    • +4 votes

Exactly, that was quite a good move from Dell, where they could have simply cancelled the orders saying it is out of stock and no longer made. Finally got a wifi printer which can print on each side of paper with fax for $9.

  •

    OzBargain zeitgeist!

Now scotty just has to make a video to some inspiring music :D

  •

    The Dell looks pretty decent.

    Scoot launch flights.
    Various winemarket coupons.
Quite a lot of the Christmas presents I gave and received!

  • +4 votes

My vote is for one that missed out vote wise but got a very healthy +221

Qantas SYD-LAX for $A850 return (Actually I paid $A810). Plus full QFF miles allocated giving $100 back on a Woolies gift card. Net $A710.

A Virgin Friends and Family flight is/was $A750 and that's standby only with NO frequent flyer points. Only available to limited people, and standby sucks if you miss a flight (like we did the year before)

Yep.. I just got back from my trip to the US a few weeks ago… I wish I stayed longer :(
I was really lucky and got upgraded to business class on the A380 on my return flight for helping a passenger with a medical issue.
Great deal. Really happy with that one!

There might be other best deals for 2012, but for me top 5 were:
    1. Jamesons $22 gift card, which can be used anywhere
    2. Dell $9 printer, which was upgraded for free of cost ( worth more than $70)
    3. Telstra $169 4G modem with $180 voucher.
    4. Free Norton 360 with some cash ( after getting cashback cheque in 4-6 weeks)
    5. Batman Archam City xBOX game for $12 delivered.

Thank you everyone for sharing these deals with us.

The easiest and most valuable deal this year for me would be the ING 5% Back on Every Contactless Purchase under $100. Have saved hundreds without doing anything out of the ordinary.

Before the ING deal, I was getting 5% off Woolworths/Coles gift cards.

Oh, half price Pepsi max. Pic of my haul

Wish I could have gotten any of the Aus-US flight deals. Instead I ended up getting a decent fare to Japan then finding a really cheap flight from Japan to NY.

The Gray's deal(s) have been great. Kicking myself for not buying the $9 Dell printer. Biggest miss for me this year: Jetstar's Intro price to Hawaii. Was home all day, and went out briefly to do something come back and it's expired. Doh.

  •

Tigerairways 1/2 price sale, with the Jetstar 10% price beat = $54rtn Melb-GC (booked 4rtn flight for the family)
With Coolie Qantas Club re-opening it meant/means I have/will consume the airfare worth of scotch before each flight.

No particular order but for all the crap people sling at HN I think they do all right by us. There are many more deals but I can't remember them all.

    2. HN 2 for 1 $20 iTunes vouchers which is ongoing.
    3. HN $5 free (coffee pods yah!)

  •

    Happy new year everyone

Unfortunately I missed out on the dell $9 printers as I was on holidays but my best 2012 bargains were

$467 Asus pad tf300t with dock from HN about six months ago (still more expensive now)

    $230 nexus 7 32gb from TGG

I love my android devices and someone should create an ozbargain android app one day.

The TF300t pad turned out to be another HN catalogue error but I was quick enough to goto store to pick one up before the memo went out. HN and Asus again…
The nexus 7 was a price match based on a user post

  •

Happy new year boys and girls! Thank you for all the bargains!

  •

For me it would have to be the lenovo thinkpad tab cashback $75 cashback and the coleman esky from amazon for $60-ish delivered in 3 days.

That and for ozbargain being a reference point before buying anything :-)

Thanks everybody that makes ozbargain ozbargain :-)

  •

Either the $600 Folio 13 Ultrabook I'm typing this on right now or my one and only post on Ozbargain: the $1.90 Monteith's Sparkling Ale. I cleaned out my local Dan Murphy's stores entirely and drank this every night for 4 months (and toasted the birth of my son with it!)

  •

Unfortunately I didn't get many of the best bargains before they got sold out, but of the deals I did get in on time the best would have to be:

    Tiger flights to Gold Coast
Bulmer's Pears Cider $30 case at first choice (missed out on $20 Herrljunga)

I'll add more if I remember them

    •

that reminds me, the $10 cartons of Cider Pascoe Vale South (Vic)

  •

Jamo speakers from amazon plus the Harvey Norman Yamaha 3065 receiver for a combined 450 was unbelievable. A bargained down price equivalent from jb was 1400 (note this price includes a sub that my combined price did not include). Amazing deal.

Favourite deals I managed to score for the year:
Amex Connect $25 target rebate, stacked with $10 off vouchers
Several scoopons for fabness canvas prints
    Pioneer S300 pack for $199
Nexus 7 at launch from eb for $297
    Dell $9 printer
10% off at masters. Combined with discount gift-cards, saved a heap of cash on flooring, tools and appliances.
    DSE outdoor antenna for $64
AMEX CPA deal with free nespresso machine, if the machine actually arrives

  •

The best post was the DSE clearance sale

  •

For me picking up a 2 trouser Pierre Cardin suit from The Men's Shop for $149 stands out as the highlight.

Honourable mentions to a replacement laptop battery from Dell for $9 and a TomTom GPS for $79 from Dick Smith.

  •

    Dell Printer $9 x2

    •

Thought you might have opted for the $37 Suit from Tesco ;)

      • +1 vote

        Oh god no.

I hope you didn't buy that in the end. It's really going to hold you back in life ;)

  • -1 vote

Google LG Nexus 4, which I can sell at more price still, LOL.

  •

Nothing beats the dell printer deal (actually the upgrades to wireless model)

  • +1 vote

    For me some of the best ones were;

Colorado going out of business clearance ($10 items…) (got it)
The free 12 bottles of OMNI white wine - http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/60904 - (missed it by that much)
Logitech Speaker Stand Big W price error - http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/61578 - (got it)
FREE $10 itunes voucher from ACCC - http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/75606 - (got it)
Free fake book from vodafone - http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/83776 - (got it)
and I missed the $9 bloody dell printer and have been kicking myself ever since LOL
