expired Starcraft II $10 at DSE
This was posted 4 months 24 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
Was browsing through some cheap games on the DSE website and noticed this gem.
Looks to be click and collect only, but most store near me are showing stock.

Edit: All gone.

+5 votesThis is sort of a dupe of this isn't it ?

+1 voteIt's the SEA version but you can change it to the US version for free when you register with battle.net. Blizzard chose not to region lock for the AU/NZ folks. :)
If you're into multiplayer, the SEA region is not as active as the US version.

grab_ur_freebies on 01/01/2013 - 18:34 ¶Nice! Will go great with…you guessed it, HotS. :D
11wks to go…
Michael15286 on 01/01/2013 - 18:49 ¶Ok, well Innaloo, Perth CBD, Morley, Mirrabooka all out of stock. Good deal to any who can get it.
+1 voteNice find. However StarCraft 2 was somewhat underwhelming. It didn't last long before I have it left to dust on the selves. played a few weeks that's it.
It's nowhere as good as SC1 and Broodwar.
Paid $77 at release. Didn't think it was worth it =/
Should have waited for $10
+1 voteThe mission design where you could play the missions and their branches in any order you want put limitations on how the story could be told. It couldn't be a linear serialized story because that would require things happen in order. So most of the missions and developments are just small side plots.
Still the mission design was great and lots of fun. As was the customization of units and research.
I thought the game was well worth it. Story wasn't great but missions were fun, units were fun. Each map had some unique hook to it.

No stocks in north shore Sydney, but thanks for sharing that. Actually I already have an access to East-Asian server (for Korea & Taiwan) but thought it was a good chance to get another one on U.S server. I hope I can get a chance to transfer my account into the US server because it's too laggy to play on East-Asian server in Australia. BUT- I know it won't happen because I know what will happen in the US server if it's allowed.
scytherbladez on 02/01/2013 - 16:11 ¶I got owned, no game or key inside. Not worth the trip back to return either. Spewing!
scytherbladez on 02/01/2013 - 19:13 ¶I reckon I got the display box, they forgot to put the game inside. Had all the other crap and somehow I missed the seal when checking - I was in a rush :(
grab_ur_freebies on 03/01/2013 - 00:40 ¶So basically for $10 you bought a box, notepad & some 7day trial keys…
scytherbladez on 03/01/2013 - 08:51 ¶spot on grab_ur_freebies and yes mythbror the cd key is on the sleeve (that is not present)
+4 votesi'm trying to post what i believe is bargain, it's a logitech g110 gaming keyboard from dicksmith but the domain dicksmith.com.au is banned at the moment. anyway this keyboard was advertised as clearance of 40% off at $53.96 (before new year) so i did a click and collect but didn't realize reservation is only valid for 24 hours and i was out of town the next day for the new year's eve party so i missed out on it. checked it again last night and found that it's only $40! so i ordered it again and was able to pick it up today, got told it's $80 normally. I also checked officewors and it's $69 there, so i think this is really a good deal. By the way i'm not a gamer so i'm not sure if this is a good keyboard, only bought it as a late xmas present for my nephew. cheers

Excellent price, I bought that price second hand, Only strange thing I found was when playing you can't use more than 2+ arrows at a time, Not sure how to disable it either but it's great cause you can change the lighting of the keys and the strength of the light. Looks great just don't put the bottom bit on.
ctrlaltdel on 04/01/2013 - 14:13 ¶finally started to install the game but i am not able to sign up to battle.net. anyone having issue?

Just a long wait for it to install and download all the updates. Followed by not being able to reset my battle.net password which hasn't been used for 11 years so had to make a new account. Then registered the CD key but it still wasn't registered within the game for about 5 minutes. Enjoying the game now.
