It back to school soon so Aldi's cheap ballpoint pen and pencil packs are available again. Works out to just over 4c each.

    lead pencils…hrmmm, were these surplus stock from germany WW2?

    Bought pencils last year. The quality is terrible. The tip breaks very easily. Wouldn't recommend if your child is in primary school.

      It is alright for kids, because their time is less value.

      I remember just having lots of time to sharpen pencils, before I was able to afford faber castelle "s v colour pencils".

      I am now a professional white collar worker.

      It is up to you whether you can afford it, but as a kid i wrote many pages . Easily $25 of copperplate pencils a year. My guess is this would have cost $2 with these comparable pencils.

      I was the kid with a budget.
