+1 voteIf you are happy with Google Maps, Navfree GPS will do the trick for offline use. I have used it for a year and its pretty good. Its only 216MB aswell. https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/navfree-gps-live-australia/i...

I've used Navfree extensively through the USA and found it quite adequate as a freebie. However, it does have a tendency to pick some crazy routes at times and directs you into a small 35mph road parallel to a 65mph freeway.
I also find it a bit frustrating that when you're looking for an address, you need to know the city first (which is a problem when driving in rural areas and you're not quite sure what the official town/area boundaries are).
But free is free.

I've used this app for years and I can tell you with confidence that it's awesome. The maps are loaded offline so you don't need 3G when using it, and I've rarely had a problem at all in the years I've used it. It's cheap, good, and Australian - the support guys regularly monitor a whirlpool thread so you can tell them any improvements or additions you need, and they respond quickly. Get it … NOW! :)
