The margins in fitness equipment are ridiculous, no wonder they got into it. The quality in fitness equipment differs greatly though, so I’d suggest trying out a few before buying. No expert, just know how dodgy some of the cheap ones can be.

What makes it a bargain?

Free delivery + installation Australia wide = ~$150
Bonus pack = $130

This equates to ~$280 worth of bargain. Sheesh!

Also, the pricing on the equipment seems to be a good 10-30% less than the competition.

That pack isn’t worth anything close to $130.

Even $50 is pushing it.

Who even uses wrist and ankle weights anymore? They have dubious benefits

The ‘bonus pack’ would probably sell in KMart for the $15.95 postage you have to pay (ok, maybe $30/40). No way is it worth $130.

and sure, after this deal you may have to pay for delivery and ‘installation’ (boy that sounds technical), but I wouldn’t call it a bargain, rather just a deal. Considering the price of the equipment, not a great deal either.

Sorry, this can hardly be called a bargain when you’re talking about paying $1500 for a treadmill in the first place.

Also, there are severe health disadvantages from using ankle/wrist weights during exercise especially running. Only beneficial if done correctly and I double any home fitness user would know how to use them correctly.

So… expensive things made cheaper aren’t bargains, only cheap things made even cheaper are?

Pretty much. You should know by now that all the front page items and top voted deals are generally cheap cheap, not just free shipping on items that cost $1.5k which isn’t cheap in the first place.

I don’t see how a couple of foam dumbells and weights added to an expensive treadmill can be considered a bargain. As mentioned earlier its no way worth $130. Feel free to prove me wrong.

The “free delivery” is already factored into the ridiculous price

The fitness pack is via redemption
So you have to pay $15.95 postage and handling for the “$130” fitness pack
Sounds like a massive rip off
