+2 votesActually Sean they're very smart with their listings, they change the coffee name or other minor details in the package so technically it can't be classified as a duplicate.
If you look at your example, yes its the same bundle but they've exchanged Indian tiger for fortitude blend on one of the coffee bags. Voila! Not a duplicate!
-2 votesTotally agree, it's advertising plain and simple. You can't continually post a nearly identical 'deal' every couple of weeks and call it a bargain. Not to mention the fact that the Aeropress device is available on Amazon for a regular price of around $35 delivered anyway.
-1 votemannabeans on 11/03/2013 - 10:12 ¶We're not selling the Aeropress alone shipped from overseas, we're selling the Aeropress + 2 x 500g Fresh roasted coffee delivered therefore you can't compare it to Amazon price. Due to the large response to these Aeropress deals we continue to post them with different coffees as there are many people still purchasing them each time. I therefore believe this is still a bargain as you cannot purchase it at this price anywhere else and it is obviously good value otherwise people wouldn't still be buying. The Ozbargain rules are being followed so invalid negative.
-1 voteBut you can purchase at this price (and cheaper) elsewhere. Pick up the device from Amazon for $35, and then take your pick of coffee beans from wherever you want (e.g. Coles Fairtrade roasted Arabica beans 1kg for $13). Total price = $48, $12 cheaper than this 'special deal' or $57 cheaper than your regular price.
I don't think getting a 'large response' instantly makes it a deal - it's just advertising. Still I commend your business acumen, I can't think of another method of marketing where you can get such a high conversion rate for absolutely free.

However that is not the nature of our product/deal

Comparing supermarket generic brand beans with freshly roasted is not reasonable.
Rep, the problem here is that you're obviously offering good prices too often.
mannabeans on 11/03/2013 - 09:19 ¶Hi, I can get it out to you by tomorrow. Please leave a note in Paypal so I can make sure it is shipped later today.

So no offence intended to mannabeans - great products & service - just perhaps we could have a special link like "http://www.mannabeans.com.au/ozbargain/" where these coffee+press bundles get placed and then maybe whenever a really special/unique deal comes up that can be listed separately…..

Are you seriously comparing coles stale beans to freshly roasted?! Its like comparing a $40 godfreys special to a dc39 dyson…. Post links proving like for like a better deal otherwise your argument carries no weight.
just sayin….
+3 votesSo i guess you are saying that the aero press @ $35 is a bargain? If that is the case then $25 for freshly roasted bean is also a bargain 1+1=1 bargain…. And free delivery mind you… I think you are just trying to be argumentative for the sake of it… No problem with going over a potential bargain but dont shoot it down unless you can back that up with valid facts. Oh can i add that every order i have received from manna beans has arrived in 3 days or less.. Let me know when your aero press arrives…
+3 votesIt happens a dozen times every day… That murky line of what is a bargain and what is just a great/good deal, for example you see the new best price of a samsung galaxy $2 cheaper than the day before.. bargain? not really just the best deal going at that time, or an iphone app was $1.99 now $0.99 - 50% off!!!!! bargain? i dont think so but still is allowed to pass by without scrutiny because some people find it useful…Remember the barrage of SSD price updates? they weren't deals just computer stores competing on price day to day… My point is in regard to this that no one has given any examples of an aero press delivered (fast) with 350 filters for less than $35… $25 for 1kg of freshly roasted beans IS a good deal, so together i think that this deal still qualifies until proven otherwise by a better or even equal deal.

If you hadn't posted a few other deals, I'd be tempted to call this advertising, given that I saw this deal just a couple of weeks ago & now it's expired…

Hope you're not taking advantage of our kind nature + posting/re-posting.
