Website Difficulties
Due to an unprecedented amount of customers wishing to purchase items on the day, the Catch Of The Day website was unable to handle traffic even before items went on sale at 12PM AEDST. Many customers were able to add items to their shopping-cart but were unable to check them out, resulting in a lot of frustration and confusion. Only a few people have confirmed they were able to purchase items, while countless more were left in the dark. One customer even noted that their credit-card had been frozen as their bank advised they were charged 13x for a single transaction.
