    With the AMEX offer, I assume you can purchase things at David Jones worth at least $250 and get a $70 return; $50 credit on your statement from AMEX and a $20 gift card.

      Incorrect. It's 10% off the price if you spend exactly $200. The percentage goes down after that.

        Actually, when the $20 gift card was added to my 'shopping bag' (as the total reached $200), $20 came off the total. The price stayed reduced as I continued through checkout with a delivery order, so it looks like a straight reduction. The shipping cost was also removed… but I have not yet finalised the purchase to confirm the charged amount.
