Don't worry you can use it for Halloween, Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day, Weddings, Prom and other events where people will think Christmas themed light shows are a big weird!

If people don't think seeing snowflakes in an Australian summer is weird, then they'll probably think it's fairly normal the rest of the year too.

  • No way this is compliant with AU electrical safety standards. The fact that it's available with AU plug doesn't change that, and the flex and plug also must be certified as well (and most likely are not). Technically this is illegal to offer for sale into Australia,

Since it might tend to get used around children, this is something that must seriously be considered. If there was some fault and somebody was injured, the importer (not the chinese seller) would have serious liability issues.

  • They never show a real picture of what these things actually look like.

In the picture the snow flakes are all the same size regardless of distance from the projector and the angle of the surface it is projecting on. They are all the same size shape and brightness whether they are shining on walls or windows lights or trees and one of the stars even projects partly onto the sky above the roof.

Bet it looks nothing like that in real life.

    • Neighbour has one installed, it's very dim, can't even see it.
Gets lost among other string lights.

  • Is there a video of real effect?
