I thought a brilliant deal, I'd signed up for eBay plus shipping a few mins earlier, purchased the item and was hit with $14.95 shipping. I rang eBay and they say that the problem is due to signing up for eBay plus and then within a few mins making my first purchase. After a 15 min phone call to them, they request me to phone back in a couple of days when their data will be up to date - doh!

I'm tipping there should be some more sellers finding a nice loophole in the eBay plus free delivery. eBay have always charged sellers a fee from shipping in the overall price and hopefully now we'll see $5 items and $15 shipping vs the previous $20 and free shipping. I bet these still come in a $2 postpack.

That $44.95 is the precise amount that shows when you choose PICK UP option as opposed to free shipping. Hope that helps you.
