    Not sure about the sound quality but definitely louder as these are 66 watts RMS vs 42 watts on R1280DB.

  Shame they have a year warranty, my Z623 from logitech started having problems within a few months of purchasing have replaced it twice through warranty, i'm sure these are a step up in terms of sound quality but probably has less doof doof ?

  I have these speakers in our large kitchen mounted near the ceiling.
  The sound quality is excellent for speakers that cost around $150. Bluetooth connection is seamless.
  They always have excellent reviews. They truely are "bang for your buck" speakers.
