Telstra Plus Points transfer.

Has anybody actually had any success in transferring Telstra Plus Points?
Trying to transfer 25k from dad's account to mine. I have full authority on dads account.
Have had 4 different live chats over 2 days, since phone support seems non-existent. Now I'm told they have made a service request that may take 7-10 days to get back to me and tell me if theyre able to transfer the points. Surely it can't take 7-10 days just to validate if the points are able to be transferred.
So has anyone actually had any success in transferring them? If so what was the process you took and how long did it take? Any advice appreciated.

    I requested two large points transfers from an account that I have full authority to my personal account towards the end of last year. There doesn't seem to be a standard process within Telstra for handling points transfer requests…

    • The first time, I raised a request via 24x7 chat, was told it would take seven business days and was provided a reference number, but it only took three business days and I received an email notification done when it was done.
    • The second time, I raised a request via 24x7 chat, was told it would take seven days and was provided a reference number, but I received a call from someone based in Australia the next business day wanting to make sure that I requested the points transfer. I confirmed I submitted the request, and I was told over the phone that the points transfer was complete and I got an email shortly afterwards saying it was done.

    Granted, this is a pre-COVID experience, so who knows what the process is like now…

      Guess I’ll just wait and see what happens.

    Done it twice, both times required a call to the account holder (I wasn't authorised on their account) and took 3-4 days.
