Not the cheapest, but you can bring it down further with gift cards if you have for Amazon, eBay or Myer.

I had $45 Myer credit ($15 Birthday voucher and $30 from reward for spending last year).
I also had Prezzee gift cards I got from the deal earlier @10% bringing it down to $320.
When I receive the airfryer, I will claim $50 which will bring it down to $270 for me.
I'm aware this won't be the case for everyone (not everyone is going to have Myer credit), but I still thought I'd share it here.

I have this air fryer. It's quite good and easy to use. For any particular cooking instructions, I find that I use about 30C less temperature and 2/3 time as compared to a regular convection oven.

    • What is it like to clean?

Easy. Anything really messy use foil to mitigate how much ends up in the lower part of the unit. Doesn't change the cooking outcome too much.

Most of the cleaning can be done in the dishwasher or hand wash. And never use an abrasive cleaner.

Does this mean that line the basket with foil and then put the food?

Best to avoid anything that spits and will go on the top element. Pork crackling for example makes it smoke the place out.

Easy to put the basket and everything else in the dishwasher. Just avoid anything touching the heating element at the top as that is hard to clean.

  • Wish I bought this one with the digital screen! 😭

For those considering buying the older model with a dial, don’t! When they say the markings rub off easily, they do mean it…

I have this digital version - once it starts heating the screen stops working. This started outside of the warranty period of course.

Still heats ok, just dunno how long is left and cannot change anything once it is heating because the screen stops. Sometimes works if you press on it but then timer goes in the wrong direction and all sorts of other weird stuff. Annoying AF for something with a RRP of $500.

  • Decent price as the RRP is 499. Cashbacks are regular throughout the year so the goal is to coincide that with a sale if your not using pre-purchased discounted gift cards.

I have one of these, was initially against it because of high cost but my wife insisted. It's simple to use and clean, it's the machine I never realised we needed. Highly recommended, cooks QUICK compares to oven. My only criticism is that the basket is still quite small even though it is the XXL model, but this is the case with all the different models. The non XXL is even smaller!

    • Second the basket size being small. I bought this ad an upgrade to the Kmart $69 air fryer and it was marginally bigger despite being XXL.

    • Thanks for sharing, makes me happy that I made the purchase

  • Just had a leg of lamb with roast veg last night that we made in this thing. Awesome. It's my favourite kitchen appliance!

  • I have this version - a couple of years old now. Once it starts heating the screen stops working and goes blank. This started a few months outside of the warranty period of course.

But all that being said, still heats well and is easy to clean. Basket and bowl still going strong after having been put in the dishwasher for every clean.

Basket is small these days compared to newer airfryers on the market. They haven't changed the size in years and is getting a bit small for our family.

    • Did you end up getting any extra side items for this like steel basket etc?
I believe this comes with a non-stick basket - idk how safe it is to use. But we use non-stick pans so I'm guessing this basket should also be high quality.

      • You can buy a wire rack that doubles the available horizontal space while halving the height for each.
