    there is a cord

    • +2

Correct because of the steam. There are no cordless steam models.

        Thomas: "Oh, really?"

      • Different brand but I though the eufy mach1 ultra was cordless.

      • This is incorrect, you can get spicy steam if you install a screwdriver into the battery cells.

        • Forbidden steamer

      • oic but man a cord is annoying. Are we back to the 80s?

        • Kettles aren't battery either as you would be charging the kettle after every boil.

          • +1

@Sammyboy: i dont move the kettle around

            • @SS625: Technically you do move it from one part of the bench to another to fill your cup. Kettle still has to be near a powerpoint, which isn't always in the best location

              • @Sammyboy: the base doesnt move, the part thats hold water moves

                • @SS625: would be better if there was no base though right? Just a kettle you can boil anywhere. My point is nothing that boils or steams is battery at the moment. All corded

  • Thanks - got one! Dealt with so many different cleaners for the tiles downstairs (mainly cordless ones) but all left streaks - but willing to go corded for the steam and no need for cleaning chemical/agents. Heard good things about Tineco too so let's see!

      love mine

It is a very good unit. Worked great for my very gloss white tiles, especially in steam mode.

      • That's why I like to hear! I think this one might be a winner!

        • +1

I paid $524.00 in Sep 2022. Almost a year on and I would buy again. Especially for $449!

  • Seems expensive but I hate mopping and always have streaks but will this damage my already crappy condition cheapo floating floors?

    • Google tells me know "Here's a list of things you shouldn't do when cleaning your floating floorboards: Don't use harsh chemicals that can destroy the surface of your floor. Don't let water soak into your floorboards. Never use a steam mop on your laminate floorboards."

But you guys are family and would like opinions, cant do more damage then regular mopping can it?

    • +1

I definitely wouldn't use steam on laminate. I think it would do more damage than regular mopping.

      • thanks ill buy a spray mop

    • tiled floors- steam mp will be excellent but for wooden/floor boards/hybrid floors, i think normal mop funtion of Tineco will be good enough

  • +1

Honestly, people might complain about the cord and yes it can get in the way but I would rather that and be able to mop my entire house without needing to stop and charge it.
This is a really good price.

    • do you need to stop, unplug and plug into another power point?

  • thanks op bought one

  • Just received my one a few days ago - and it is by far the best mopping/vacuum/steam machine I’ve ever had. I’ve tried at least 4-5 different ones and retuned most of them. This one is definitely a keeper! Streak free and only uses water too.

I’m using on shiny porcelain tiles btw.
