Lian Li Lancool III White ATX Mid Tower $199 + Delivery ($0 SYD C&C/ mVIP) + Surcharge @ Mwave

40

Cheapest that this case seems to have been in a while. Going for $218+ in other places.

Surcharges: 1% Card & PayPal.

Seems to be decently well reviewed, with a large chamber for fitting GPUs up to 435mm (Max). Comes included with a GPU anti-sag bracket to hold them in place at the motherboard end. Also has 4 included 140mm fans (3 in front, one in rear).

Support for 420mm radiators front and top.

Video review from Gamers Nexus.
Video review from Hardware Canucks.

Very heavy case. Very easy to build in, and obviously quite cool (with great temps)

It appears reviews point to the previous Lian Lancool 2 Mesh Performance as still being better.

    • It does seem to win in a few areas yeah, great value case still

    • it's close enough to be a non issue

  • can see why towers are at discount when most are trending towards matx or smaller

I chose this over many other options because of the included fans, and it has 2 USB-A 3.0 and 1 USB-C 3.1 compatible ports at the front of the case. Aaaand it fits my stupid hard drives, 2x 3.5inch HDDs and 4 2.5inch SSDs with room for more.
I did have to order the official air filters, which I could only find on Ali Express, for like $50 or something.

The Montech KING 95 Pro seems to tick all those boxes, with air filters and six fans. A bit late now though, but just my two cents. 😅

I'm a fan, I'm going to buy it.

      • That one looks pretty cool as well - post a sale when you find one next please :D

          They're kinda on sale atm.

Centrecom has the black, blue and white at $199. The red is on specially reduced for $175.

PCCG has it for $179 but shipping is too expensive if you're not close to them.

I asked Centrecom if they would reduce Black to $175 to match the red, but they matched it to PCCG instead, so I got it for $179, happy chappy. 😅

          • @lordra: Where does the PSU go?

            • +1

@SgtBatten: Back rear, there's a separate compartment at the back for all the cables and the PSU.
Very neat look, but very wide at 30cms.

              Have a look here.

              Are you thinking about buying?

              • @lordra: My case is over 10 years old so one day. Have not kept up with latest trends but just upgraded my pc last week, kept the case so I've been casually looking for a modern replacement.

                • @SgtBatten: Very good.
I'm in the same boat as you. But my entire build is a touch over a decade old.

Congratulations on the new pc. Do you have a PCPP list to show off?

What's your budget for a case? What do you think of the video?

                  • @lordra: I just made one with the new parts (and the old case)

I also kept 3 existing SATA SSDs and 1 HDD and the 750W PSU

Upgraded from a i7 4770k and GTX 980TI with 16GB ram. From memory its about triple the CPU and double the GPU performance.

No real budget. Cheaper the better but as i said, my case works so i don't have any urgency.
