        Is your Google broken?

An Everyday Transaction account has zero fees. It actually pays 4.75% p.a. interest

EDIT: Which is really weird, as their high interest savings accounts pay the same! What's the point lol

        • Legend thanks mate!

    • Is there any minimum balance or conditions or hops to go through to keep a Macquarie account open and have access to that 3% Amazon gc discount? If not I might open one just for that.

FWIW before I switched over full time I had an account with one dollar in it for years, simply for the use of Marketplace. Never got charged fees that I can recall

EDIT: Per comment above, Everyday Transaction is no fees and is interest bearing.

That's awesome thanks for the info!

If they have a referral program, send me your referral code (if it's not against the rules) so I can use it when I sign up

@Oztx: I don't think they do, just had a quick look.

            You're very welcome ☺️

Probably best to avoid buying these low value GC bonuses, especially when >3% can be readily found elsewhere.

Only then, we'll hopefully get more decent 5-10% bonuses!

  • Not even remotely tempted.
