      SURFACE PREPARATION BARE CONCRETE:
      Proper surface preparation is critical to performance. Allow new concrete to cure for a minimum of 28 days. Before coating bare concrete surfaces, sweep the surface to remove dirt and dust. Remove grease, oil, salt and other contaminants with a Cleaner & Degreaser. Scrub spots thoroughly with a stiff bristle brush or broom and wipe up excess cleaner with rags or paper towels to keep contaminates from spreading. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Squeegee dry the entire floor. Repeat as necessary for extremely dirty floors or hard to remove stains. If necessary, use a wire brush or sander to remove any loose or unsound concrete or masonry. For proper penetration and maximum adhesion, use a Concrete Etch. Follow manufacture’s label instructions carefully. When etching is complete, be sure to rinse 3 times with clean water and scrub with a stiff bristle brush while rinsing. This will ensure no product remains on the surface. The surface should feel rough, like 150 grit sandpaper and water should easily be absorbed into the concrete. Allow the surface to dry completely before applying any coatings.

      PREVIOUSLY COATED FLOORS:
      Make sure the floor is clean and dry. Use a wire brush to remove any loose or peeling paint or stain. If the floor is sealed, the sealer will have to be removed by grinding or shot blasting. Rinse or sweep away dust and other particles. To ensure proper adhesion, scuff sand the entire surface.

        My mistake, I assumed it was another tin that was needed to work with this product, not just a roller.

      I grabbed this from the previous deal, I found that a floor squeegee to spread it out followed by an ordinary roller worked great. I can't stress enough the importance of using an undercoat for any paint job. For the prep I used a detergent scrub followed by a mild acid treatment and a good pressure clean, this was on old heavily stained unpainted concrete The end result is fantastic.

      It's not recommended for garages. You would need an epoxy-based product instead.

    @DIYcharcat please advise: New build, The builder laid concrete in the rain for my driveway. He then applied concrete coating on the driveway from where the property boundary starts. The section which is from the boundary to the road was not sealed and I see every time I roll my car into driveway, the white powder stuff gets on the tires. I am assuming that concrete was not cured due to it was laid in rain. Now I see the coating is also starting to come off.
    What can I do to prevent the deterioration? The driveway is now 2 years old. thank you

      That doesn't sound right. Get in touch with your builder and get them to sort it out as its only been 2 years
