      Yeah that’s like the last time I went to do one of these deals. The $100 cards all disappeared the night before the deal and only the $50/$25 cards were left.

      BIG W usually publicly releases its catalogues at midnight (Sydney/Melbourne time) two calendar days before the catalogue deals start.

    For those purchasing the luxury escapes gift cards, please note that you can't stack offers and pay the total amount of your booking with gift cards and use the current Citibank 10% off promo codes. An error message appears when you try and finalise the transaction.
    Not sure if it will work if using giftcards for only partial payment (e.g. at least $1 balance owing once applied credit).

      I thought the Citibank 4 nights and pay only 3 nights hotel benefit only will start on 1st June with Luxury Escape? I just checked my email and confirmed it only starts from 1st June

      This comment you saw is a joke and is a reference to a long-running scam where a scammer will convince you they are from the ATO and then demand payment in the form of Apple gift cards (or back in the day, iTunes gift cards).

          It is quite hard to get your hands on discounted gift cards (at least when compared with Apple gift cards, Ultimate gift cards, TCN gift cards, etc). You would need to wait for a deal on a prepaid gift card (e.g. Activ Visa gift card, TCN eftpos gift card, Coles Mastercard gift card, Vanilla Visa gift card), and those deals are very infrequent.

          Keep in mind that Activ Visa gift cards cannot be used at the ATO via myGov or Government EasyPay, because the gift card scheme owner has blocked all transactions at the ATO on those gift cards.
