20x Diarrhoea Relief Tablets + 10x Stomach Ease Forte Tabs $9.99 Delivered @ PharmacySavings

Hi Ozbargainers,

My COVID barometer is vibrating as we sell thousands of boxes of Paracetamol - So not sure if sales figures on our janky website are a leading indicator of growing COVID numbers in the community, but I'm getting a sense of deja vu about previous waves.

Anyway - I've realised the biggest challenge I have at the moment is maintaining prices as wholesale prices of pretty much everything rise and the cost of postage spirals out of control (as Aust Post delivery timeframes also slip), so my latest challenge to my suppliers is for them to repeat pricing from months or years ago - to try and keep a lid on my retail pricing!

Due to the huge volumes of product I've been able to move lately (with a huge thanks to Ozbargainers), Pharmacy Action have taken kindly and provided me with a few cartons of Stomach Ease Forte and Diarrhoea relief and pretty much 2022/2023 pricing - I ran this bundle in late 2023 and had a really good response from Ozbargainers so I thought I'd rise and repeat and see if there was any interest tonight:

Item: 10x Stomach Ease Forte + 20x Diarrhoea Relief
Link: https://pharmacysavings.com.au/products/10x-stomach-ease-for…
Price: $9.99
Code: Not required
Delivery: FREE
Exp: Diarrhoea Relief End Aug 2025 / Stomach Ease End December 2025

I'm going to ask super nicely again for clients to PLEASE hold off the chargebacks and wait patiently for Aust Post deliveries. If you have been waiting more than 20 working days - I will replace your item, please PM me. While delivery should be far, far less than 20 working days (and for the greater majority of clients it is), if you have been waiting 10-11-12-13 working days, I feel your pain, but emailing me daily (especially over the weekend) won't make Aussie Post deliver any faster, please hang in there. If you've been waiting for more than 20 working days, please PM me.

Last weeks deal on Cetrelief was a ripper - I thought I'd give it some air time again tonight:

Will this help with my verbal diarrhoea? Which I also suffer from?

See if they got pills for chronic unfunnyness, which you also suffer from.

Just so people are aware, loperamide doesn't address the underlying cause of or cure diarrhoea, it just reduces urgency to go to the toilet. Taking this can actually prolong the infection. Claiming it is "relief" is a misnomer, as it's only temporary. Use it sparingly and only if you absolutely have to travel or be away from home.

Ah, so it’s a crap product

    • The diarehoea (wtf at spelling of this word) itself never seemed to achieve much to me.

    • +2

Yep, all it does is slow down your bowel function, allowing your large bowel to absorb more liquid and reducing the number of trips to the loo.
loperamide is also an almost essential drug for those of us who have Short bowel syndrome or make use of an ileostomy bag. I've been taking these daily since my surgery July last year, and even after ileostomy reversal they improve my quality of life exponentially.
Over the counter these pills can get very expensive for the quantity I need, so I really appreciate @jason101 posting these deals to remind me to stock up.

Fingers crossed that COVID returns, Victoria is reporting lots of JN.1 virus in the waste water.

I'd love another lockdown for winter, mandatory masks and 9pm curfews again, please.
It made everything feel so safe.

      Unfortunately those days are gone.

Can't tell if bait or serious. The fact the question needs to be asked says a lot about our society.

A month long covid-style shutdown each year but without all the uncertainty would be awesome imo.

  • Serious deal for shits and gurgles :)

  • I'm wondering how much it costs, per pill, for Big Pharma to make various medications (the raw cost before markups are added)? I would love to see the figures. I suspect there will some depending on the cost of the precursors and the number of synthetic steps. Pilocarpine (for gaucoma and xerostomia), THC/cannabidiol, theophylline (asthma), ephedrine, atropine, L-Dopa (Parkinsons), quinine (malaria), morphine, digoxin (digitalis, for heart failure) are some that just get extracted from plants. It's cheaper to lab synthesize caffeine than extract it. I only did one organic chemistry subject, so I quite ignorant of real world synthesis of pharmaceutical.

    My COVID barometer is vibrating

Not covid. It's the flu (influenza). The government was urging everyone on the news to take the flu shot but I'm gonna give it a pass, already had the flu a month ago

    • yes, listen to the governments
      permanent cure

  • What is stomach ease used for exactly in the real use. Can it make you handle certain foods better?

  • Fun fact - take this along with drugs that weaken the blood-brain barrier results in a good high.

  • Hi OP,

any chance of getting Desloratadine in at all? Not sure how it sells, but a couple of my family members swear by it.

Not appropriate professionally to sell abusable drugs like this

  • The Mometasone as per the link is $40.99 with the code, not $49.99 - bought yesterday.

  • I brought the Diarrhea Relief tablets with me to Turkey last Oct/Nov and had to use them. They didn't work at all. Luckily someone on the tour had some stronger stuff that kills everything in your gut, which worked a charm with a-biotic and pro-biotics.
