Saw the Monet exhibition, it's ok to see one of these types of exhibition for the experience and also if you like art at least a little bit but I wouldn't bother going to another.

Yep, the monet one was pretty good because it's all landscapes which suit the format, the ones after that were less enjoyable.

The format is getting old, rekon they should bite the bullet and do a peppa pig one next school holidays lol.

        • Definitely agree to that. It was good for a while but they really need to start asking what the future is going to be with this space. The same old experience with different contents is not going to get people going back.

  • Can you visit the store for this for free or is it only at the end

    • +2

You can visit the gift shop for free. You go in via the exit - I did that for a previous exhibit

  • Too expensive even with discount. You can look at the same photos high res with 100% accurate colour reproduction on a decent computer screen.

Some of us have girlfriends who demand a day out lol

Literally every comment above is from someone who hasn't seen it…

It's worth it because there are actual reconstructions of some of the Da Vinci contraptions, there are interactive objects, Vitruvian Man analysis to see how close your body is to the golden ratio, Da Vinci-inspired AI painting of you, a runthrough of Da Vinci history in Italy with a focus on militaristic ideas, Da Vinci exploration of some scientific concepts, analysis of the Mona Lisa painting…

I'm being a little vague and not giving specific details as I don't want to spoil it for people who are yet to see it. You really should see it for yourself.

  • These guys had Vincent van Gogh before. Right?

    • Yeah with the car in the middle and matching ad…

  • Is this coming to Sydney at some point?
