Feel free to neg the deal. Any reason you didn't do that all the previous times you made the same comment time and time again?

The extra arm I grew from drinking all this Bonsoy has been really helpful! /s

        Profile pic checks out.

          So does the username!

      • "Consuming Bonsoy almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter" ~ Cooldog, probably.

    • +4

Have you tried it? Whatever water they're using, it's delicious!

      • Cooldog’s tears..

    • A joke is funny once pal.

      • That was supposed to be a joke? Probably the least funny joke I've ever heard.

        • Nevertheless he has recycled it in about 25 threads already. Sad.

Don't think that water will affect soy milk. Probably mainly avoid their seafood.

      • What if their water is through Desalination?

        • I'm pretty sure its not expensive to run desal water. Otherwise this stupid pricing would be even higher. They're already double the price of Australian soy milk…

    • +3

This guy again.. Cooldog can't help himself, every time.
It was funny the first time pal.

      • +10

Was it actually funny the first time? I reckon this fella is the sort of person who has "Sorry, we're full" or "If you don't like it leave!" bumper stickers on their car. Whilst at the same time typing his comments on his Chinese made phone, driving a japanese made car, wearing clothes made in Bangaldesh and watching Sky News on his Korean made TV.

        • It was never funny, correct. However if it's who I think it is then there's no point crying over spilt soymilk and should move on, and not feel the need to neg and comment on every single deal .

          • @G-rig:

there's no point crying over spilt soymilk

Never is mate, the soy plants can't care.

        • This probably applies to 99% of the population.

    • +2

it helps dissolve all the microplastics we pump into the oceans !

    • You laugh now, but I'll have the last laugh when I turn into Godzilla.

        • Spoilers man! I've only seen the Japanese Godzilla movies lol

    • 🤡🤡

    • What did you drink to get that brain rot?

    • That’s not cool, doggie.

  • +2

Why do vegans wake up so early in the morning?

    To milk the soy. 🤣🤣

    /joke

    • +3

It's actually common to wake up early to make soy milk in China as it is part of the Chinese breakfast staple for many people there. And yes, a lot of them make it themselves.

      • And they make it every morning!?

        • Pretty much, if that's what they like for breakfast.

Although now people use smart home automation to remote control, set routine etc but you still need to prep the soy beans the night before.

I tried this once, and it would curd in the coffee 😂 Horrible taste, not to mention

    • +2

What coffee what machine, did you steam it? Sounds like you're doing it wrong.

Cafes and others playing at home can manage it.

Best price in a while. Still got 6 from the crpt0 coffee $10.99 deal (had to chase that up a few times though).

      • BDB with all the mods and accessories, Specialita Mignon grinder lol Pretty much that's it.

It was a waste of my money.

The only alt milk I loved is Oatly Barista version, never had any issues.

    • +8

definitely a you problem, this is by far the best soy milk for coffee, from both a flavour and a texture perspective, i get it very very close to the creaminess of full cream milk

    • +2

Actually, yeah, soy milk coagulates when it touches coffee. It happens at home with my coffee machine and it happens even at speciality cafes, which is why achieving crisp latte art isn't as easy compared to using regular milk or oat milk. The best thing to do is to not over steam/froth the milk.

  • Anyone have experience freezing bonsoy after opening?

I buy it to make coffees for friends who prefer soy, but it ends up wasted after making only one or two lattes. I wish they made 200ml packs like you can get with UHT cows milk.

    • You could always buy Milklab who offer smaller packs at Coles.

      • I only see oat and almond on Coles online, at $2 for 250ml.

    • -1

Give them the nasty thing to take away lol

      • Have contemplated this, but it's a bit awkward as the packs dont have a lid (you cut the corner off the tetra pack).

        • Perhaps get another brand, as all the others have a lid.

    • +2

Once opened, I freeze it in icecube trays and put it in a sealed container. I would say the frozen cubes are slightly less creamy than refrigerated - but I am fine with that (I use it in moka pot coffee). Maybe you could freeze a few and have your friends do a taste test

  • Anyone know if you have a S&S already in place, does it automatically go to the cheaper price or do you need to cancel/renew?

    • Just do a new S&S order, and cancel the old ones :)

    • It automatically reorders at the price it is at at time of your order. So if your renew is due right now it will be this price. If price is different tomorrow, and your renewal is due then, it will be whatever the price is tomorrow at time of order.

      • Would you know if it is the price the day after the "skip order period" has expired or if it is the price when they ship the order? Thanks

        • I am not sure sorry. I make a habit of cancelling all my S&S orders after I receive them.

The one time I forgot, order was placed the day prior to the next order frequency date, for delivery in that day (next day)

          • @Lucille Bluth: No worries - I do the cancellation method too but was wondering if there was another way. Thanks anyway

    • +6

Nope, but beer and chicken does.

Edit: I suggest you google it instead of spreading BS myths.

      • -4

Damnit!!! Who would've thought this is a myth aye? Phoning my friend now.

Edit: Didn't know google is available when Ozbargain is here.

  • Filtered Water, Organic Whole Soybeans Min 15%, Tapioca Syrup, Sea Salt, Job's Tears (Hato Mugi), Calcium Carbonate.

thats a lots of Soy in there

    • Compared with what?

      • Full cream

    • Is it? 15% of 1L. U don't think so..

It's better than some of the dirtier brands with 6%

  • What is "S&S"?
