  • I bought into the trade-in deal for the pixel 8a yesterday. I wonder if this would have stacked.

    • According to the T&C's no? Bit ambiguous though.

"Coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupon offer"

    • +2

the fine print says pre-orders are excluded

    • +1

No it won't stack with Perks code in any case, because you can only enter one coupon code on the JB site, which you are already using for the $300 trade in bonus.

      • Can someone briefly explain the process for trade-in deal to buy pixel 8a please?

Jbhifi website seems to be separate from trade-in. Which one to do first and where to get the trade-in code?

        • +1

Trade in code first from SquareTrade up, they will send you a $300 coupon and the gift card for phone to use on JB site. Then you go back to JB site and buy the phone with the $300 coupon, gift card for value of your trade in and pay the remainder however you like.

  • +1

Can the coupon be used after price matching?

    • +2

      Yes

  • Just bought something with gift cards on the weekend. Any chance Jb will refund the difference?

    • +1

give them a call and check, you won't lose anything by just trying

      • +2

        1st step: Ozbargain
        2nd step: Ozbargain
        3rd Step: Ozbargain

    • Yes, but it depends on how nice the store manager is haha. I've had luck doing this in the past, they will give you a gift card of the difference.

  • I'm interested in the Pixel Watch 2 which would be $419 after this. Do we reckon that google store would be willing to price match not only the original discounted price, $449, but the coupon price - $419? (see this deal for background)

    • +1

Very unlikely - no harm in trying but usually these types of promotions are excluded from price matches.

Go get some Ultimate gift cards from Aldi (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/842865) 10% off at the moment and buy it from JB. This wil bring it down to $377

      • love your work and your maths

  • Damn it, would've use that to get PS5

    • +2

      Excludes Apple products, Game Consoles

      • Seems to work on PS Portal

        • +3

That's not a console though, just a controller with a screen attached

      • From what old mate at JB told me, the system allows the discount on anything. Online may be different but in store it has worked for me on Apple products

    • Wouldn't you save more buying these gift cards that are on sale?

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/842865

  • Nice promo, got mx3s combo with a $2 clearance mug only in 270, and used afterpay coupon only in 240

    • Is it unified dongle and single button to swap both mouse and keyboard simultaneously to each PC yet?

I'm tired of turning my mouse over to push the button on the bottom when the software should be able to automate that for me by only pressing the swap button on the keyboard.

    • Is the an Afterpay deal on at present? I might have misunderstood.

      • No, you need to be the new customer using reffer coupon to get extra $30 off

        • Thank you

          • @Redmarz: no worries, I can get you one if you need that.

            • @GloveBear: I’m an existing Afterpay user, so I might not qualify.

Would JB price match with Costco and use perks ?

I am looking to buy AirPods Pro and price match with Costco.

    • Typically they wont match somewhere that requires a membership.

    • +1

Helps to read the exclusion apply list mate :)

  • +4

I didn't get the email, not even to junk, anyone else have this issue?

    • +2
