They have 40% regularly in outlets stores. 50% off occasionally.

    • +18

This is 40% on top of the already discounted sale

      • -2

will see if the current discount price changes

        • +6

It usually doesn't. Most of the time it's increased. See previous deals where we scored awesome bargains

      • +4

        *mic drop

      • Will items stay discounted till extra 40% off?

    • they increase the price it will be the same price as is now the always do that
      ………………………………..

    • Not anymore(

  • Combine with first responder discount?

  • +3

Stack with 20% Amex cash back? Mine says it expires 15/5 so potentially 2 days to use.

    • +1

      Hopefully

    • +2

Amex 20% and 20% cashrewards ftw

      • This is the way, you can get really great bargains, last time i got stan smith lux for like $100

      • 20% cashrewards ends on the 13th I think?

        • Regardless of this current deal… i got boston 12 for $144

        • I was hoping Cashrewards / Shopback -> Adidas and use Amex

          • @wazza888: yeah that works, though the 20% cashback ends tomorrow. just depends what you're looking for. right now there's nothing worth buying for me in outlet, so if i was to get something it would be before cashback ends

            • @aorusozbarg: would you happen to know what shopback/amex does in the event that adidas cancels part of the order due to stock? This happened to me. :(

    • +1

Like when we sent back Russell Crowe

    • +16

Incorrect. I've never been charged for returns and have returned over a dozen items

    • My experience was seamless. Wasnt charged…. i think

    • Never been charged for returns

    • +16

Ah.. Just checked my emails, it was ASOS who charged me after. not. Adidas.. My bad.

  • +13

Am I the only one who gets mad every time I check their webpage? One would believe being a multi-million dollar company has the resources to offer a smooth experience with the online shopping. Wrong.

    • -4

Why do you get mad? Adidas has the richest outlet out there, always easy to find the discounts im interested in

      • +3

nah i find it frustrating too - sometimes have to log in like 3 times for some reason? login seems to drop going between pages & going to cart. filters are slow to select & apply

        • +1

I wouldn't bother (posted below) with another Adidas outlet sale. It's like the Brooks Brothers or Ralph Lauren brands where they seem to make an extra-crappy line for straight to the discount racks.

I bought some gym stuff last year, only use it for sleeping or BBQ now (don't care if it gets covered in grease).

        • -1

Literally never had a website issue with them and i visit them often

  • +16

Meh. I bought a bunch of Adidas stuff on a previous sale, and everything was very mediocre quality- slightly weird cut to the t-shirts, fabric of the sweatpants are really baggy. Worse than the stuff I've seen in stores.

It was almost like this stuff was made deliberately for outlet sales channels.

      • -4

I can't bring myself to wear Adidas shoes as streetwear (I'm not young enough, and I'm not grey-haired enough) but I do have a pair of their Terrex approach shoes for hiking. They're wearing out faster than any other brand of outdoor shoe I've ever owned, which is really bumming me out. I had high hopes for them after Adidas bought out 5.10, but it looks like they took none of the 5.10 design cues.

        • +6

I'm not young enough, and I'm not grey-haired enough

Or you're just not cool enough.

    • +1

I don't think it's just the outlet stuff.. I intended on buying some shorts and tops for running the other day and left with nothing. Thin and cheap elastics, poor quality look and feel. I forgot to see which country they were made in, but they definitely aren't like any of my previous Adidas ones so maybe they're getting them produced somewhere cheaper now.

    • Yeah, quality sux lately. Dark colours fade after a few washes. Now I stick to light greys

  • +4

Adidas has become low quality cheap plastic shoes that wear out after 6 months

    • My last Adidas lasted over a year, cardio 1hr daily and weights plus running errands so your milage may vary.

Even then, they were still ok but I just got bored of them

    • +2

I must be buying from another adidas then.
My ub19s, ub20s, dna 1s, forum lows, stan smiths, alphabounces are all going strong. (Didnt even mention the yeezy line)
Even a cheap coast star is still good after literally 6 years with great leather. Lately i added a 4dfwd to the collection and it looks fine

      • +2

If you've got what sounds like a massive collection of Adidas shoes that you are rotating between, you can't talk about longevity. You've mentioned at least 8 pairs there.

Come back to us when you wear the same two pairs of shoes for 15 years and they're still in good shape (which is what I had).

        • +1

I bought two Adidas shoes, both lasted max 6 months before getting holes

        • I wore ub19s and ub20s at work (waiter) and they lasted a long time. I have been wearing my 350v2 for a long time, they're like my beaters and they look and feel like day 1.

        • 💯, my Nike shox are about 10 years old, I wear them daily they still look presentable. The soles are still good. I can probably stretch them out another year or so til they go in the bin

  • +10

    Re the negative comments above

My Ultraboost 20s lasted 2 1/2 years of daily usage, and my current Ultraboost 22s aren't doing too poorly either after a year

I'd argue they're made decently well, when you can get them for ~$100 it's a no brainer imo. YMMV I guess.

    • +1

i agree 100%, i dont know what models these people are buying.

    • +1

Yep, UB are some of the longest lasting shoes I've run in (1200-1800+ km), despite ending up more lifestyle skewed before the Light models came out. Even when I retired pairs of UBs, they still had a lot of tread with no upper damage.

    • I don't believe they wear out faster, but the comfort has definitely declined. My first pair in 2018 were like literally walking on pillows made from heavenly clouds. Now they're just shoes.
Hokas are the best replacement from catch deal. Even Xiaomi (if you can get genuine) from aliex are better if you are size 11US or under.

      • Havent tried any of the latest ultraboost lights but my dnas are even better than my ub19s and ub20s

        • Ultraboost or Ubounce DNA?

          • @dmbminaret: The one i have is ultraboost dna 4. Did i google search and dint find any stock anywhere though

  • +4

Combine with Amex spend $150, get 20% back which is expiring in 6 days

  • Dang it, I want some running super shoes, but they aren’t in the outlet 😭

  • +3

For other people who are US11:

No good shoes/bargains for us atm

    • facts, i just took a look :(

    • US11 - the most common?!

      • +2

I don’t know the stats, but I’d guess the most popular men’s size are US9, 10 and 11

        • I moved to 12. Either my feet got bigger or shoes are shrinking like pizzas and big Mac's.

          • @dmbminaret: tbh I think US11 is starting to feel small on me too. Apparently our feet grow as we age because of gravity

    • Are these not a good price for $90 ? I noticed these are listed as size M11/W12 so I'm guessing if you filter for 11 then they don't show up??

  • any thoughts on the adidas $40 basketball?

  • From 14 May 7:00pm

Plenty of time to plan if they are not doggy and no bots ;)

  • Any Adidas shoes which have good arch support?

    • -5

You don't rely on shoes from shitty sportswear companies for arch support- shoes are mostly about cost cutting- hence being produced in China or Vietnam, or the more recent move to knitted uppers. Knitted uppers were marketed as 'fashionable' but they are really used because they even cheaper to produce by machine than to pay a child labourer in a developing country.

The innersole of any sportswear shoe is a thin piece of flimsy foam with zero support. It should be tossed first thing. If you want arch support you get good quality third party innersoles. I've found Superfeet to be very long lasting if you don't go custom.

      • +2

TIL that Adidas is a 'shitty sportswear company'

        • -6

TIL that Adidas is a 'shitty sportswear company'

Uh… what rock have you been living under?

They make very mass market, very low production cost crap, which they then fleece to people impressed by batshit crazy influencers and European football stars. Adidas, Nike, Puma, etc… they are all shitty sportswear companies.

The products are cheap tat compared to slightly higher tier companies. I know product designers, procurements and logistics people in better companies and the product quality difference and the way they treat staff is massive. Hell, I'm not really a fan and am totally outside the target demographic, but the even Gymshark stuff that I've seen is better. And that's a brand that is marketed at poor uni students.

The only Adidas product I've been impressed with in the past decade are their Adipower shoes, but they are very, very specialist and you don't exactly walk for miles in them.

If you think that Adidas is the pinnacle of quality, then you need to get out and broaden your horizons.

PS: Thanks for the continual downvotes, it's really cute that this is getting under your skin so much. I'm sorry about your fashion sense.

          • @rumblytangara: i want to hear your thoughts on their running shoes

            • -3

@aorusozbarg: No opinion- I don't run. I'm sure some of their stuff is good. Most of my criticism is on their streetwear that saddo fashion victims here who follow influencers are so enamoured with. Seriously- who can mention 'Yeezy' without a huge cringe?

My casual sports shoes are either minimalist zero drop or approach shoes.

First time my physio saw my minimalist shoes he said unprompted "keep wearing those, don't wear those fat soled sneakers that everyone else walking town around in."

              • +1

@rumblytangara: alright well you generalised their whole brand as "very low production cost crap" so i guess you do have an opinion, just not a well informed one

they have some of the best running lines so if you consider them to be "low production cost", they must be very cost efficient in r&d

                • -3

@aorusozbarg: Doesn't matter if they are 'best' or not- properly used running shoes are supposed to be replaced once or twice a year anyway, they're about as consumable as printer ink. Of course they're cheap to make- look up the production cost estimates.

                  • @rumblytangara:

Doesn't matter if they are 'best' or not- properly used running shoes are supposed to be replaced once or twice a year anyway, they're about as consumable as printer ink.

says who? shoes are very much about mileage which would obviously vary among consumers, not 'a year or two'. you can trade performance for a less durable shoe too.

also people aren't buying these shoes because of 'athletes marketing them'. i guarantee if you ask runners purchasing these, they wouldn't know which professional runners (if at all) use what shoes

Of course they're cheap to make- look up the production cost estimates.

forget r&d or are you just looking at raw material costs?

                    • @aorusozbarg:

Says every manufacturer of running shoes. Look them up- Adidas, Nike, Brooks, they all "say X hundred miles, which on average is 3-6 months"

You're the one who started talking about running shoes. Or when you asked about running shoes, did you mean for people who just walk around the street?

                      Here's Nike: https://www.nike.com/au/a/how-often-to-replace-running-shoes

You seriously didn't know this? I have never been a serious runner, only dabbled in trail running, but I've known this for well over a decade. Anyone who has done any running knows that shoes are consumable.

also people aren't buying these shoes because of 'athletes marketing them'. i guarantee if you ask runners purchasing these, they wouldn't know which professional runners (if at all) use what shoes

Where did the idea of professional athletes come from? If people are talking about Yeezy or whatever, they're not being influenced by professional athletes. They're being influenced by racist social media nutcases.

                      • @rumblytangara:

you're literally proving my point that it's about miles which would obviously vary on how many miles the consumer puts on, not on when you first bought the product.

so how come you've put a baseline that good shoes are only "supposed to be replaced once or twice a year"?

Where did the idea of professional athletes come from? If people are talking about Yeezy or whatever, they're not being influenced by professional athletes. They're being influenced by racist social media nutcases.

this is what you wrote LOL "They make very mass market, very low production cost crap, which they then fleece to people impressed by batshit crazy influencers and European football stars"

you put out a general statement on the whole Adidas brand and now you're trying to track back that you were only referencing about "Yeezy or whatever".

do you have dementia? seems like you can't even recall your own arguments. maybe you should stick to ranting about air purifiers. look forward to another post about it in a years time!

also you self admittedly haven't even used the Adidas shoes for running, yet you seem to have such a strong opinion about them. i wonder why? do you have no shame? where do you get your opinions from?

              • @rumblytangara: Yeezy is pretty good. they worked with the best designers at the time. looks are a bit of an acquired taste, but they are they most comfortable shoe I have. The knitted mesh upper also seems to be work to hold your foot in if that makes sense.

          • +1

@rumblytangara: You are getting mad bro, the trick in life is to not get mad so easily.
I use Adidas casually and have a few hoodies and many shoes, they are all very good choices at really low prices.

            • -4

@nikoris: Dude… you're the one getting all worked up about people not fanboying over your fave brand.

              • +1

@rumblytangara: Never really got worked up though and if anything you reminded that its time to get my hoodies outside of the boxes!!

  • 15% on SB and 20% CR
But recently there's less and less products available.

Plus delivery time has been Ozbargained…. Recent purchases take ages for delivery and returns and refunds needs to be chased cos they are swamped

I feel like Adidas' logistics has always been pretty shit

  • +1

CR at 18% as soon as the sale started
