Maxigesic - 100% Money Back if Not Satisfied

Per the posting guidelines this can’t be a deal so I’m putting it in the forums instead.

My dentist gave me a box of this to try instead of doubling-up on regular paracetamol + ibuprofen as it’s supposed to work faster. I visited the web site to read more about it and saw the banner ad to get your purchase price refunded (up to $10) if you buy it from any store and you’re not happy with results after 7 days.

Basically, they’re shouting you a free box.

Claim for here.

Full T&Cs here.

Edit: Per the comments below it would appear some people don't like being advised of something they may not be aware of already so I guess those folks like to stumble across it themselves. Also, I'm not advocating you should rort the offer just to get a freebie, I encourage you to genuinely give the product a try and make an informed decision as to whether you're satisfied with it or not.

People have mixed opinions on whether it should be deal

So are you not satisfied with the product or do you just want to drive revenue of an Australian company lower?

This is a poor post/ suggestion

    1) lots of companies have a satisfaction guarantee and posting every product that does isn’t helpful

    2) encouraging people to rort a good will policy is one way to push companies to have more limited refund policies

    3) if you are actually happy enough with the product claiming a refund by saying you are dissatisfied is plain dishonest

    Dumb post.

  • It's just 500mg paracatamol + 150mg ibuprofen @ 30c a dose if purchasing the 30 pack.

True OzBargainer just takes a generic paracetamol and ibuprofen. Exactly the same thing at 7c a dose.

I am not in any way a pharmacist but I would have thought stomach contents would be a greater factor in onset timeframe?

They aren't 'shouting' you a free box.

They have a policy in place in case you aren't satisfied with the product.

This is stupid and you should have some moral/bargain compass that tells you not to make a post like this.

Also, I'm not advocating you should rort the offer just to get a freebie,

I dunno, when I read this line:

Basically, they’re shouting you a free box.

it sure did sound like you were suggesting that. :)
