R.M. Williams Craftsman Boots $499 Delivered @ Gooleys (Price Matched @ David Jones)

170

R.M. Williams boots on sale at George Gooley for $499.

I’ve managed to do an online price match over SMS at David Jones. (See their website for contact options).

They sent an email confirmation of the price match, and then you purchase at original price online and they refund the difference.

DJs asked me what colour and size I wanted, so I assume it’s subject to availability of sizes and colours. I’ve price matched to a Brown 7G.

  • No sizes for me in black colour. Can I still price match at DJ if my size not available?

Why not just buy them from gooleys since it’s a great price from a smaller company

Gooleys is great to deal with, support the little guy

    • Gooleys are great to buy from
Always got my school uniforms from them, got my first suit from them and always bought my jeans from them when I lived in the northern rivers

    • They don't have every size in stock, that's the only conceivable reason I can see.

  • …refund the difference from DJs. Yeah that won’t end in tears.

Perfect for the city dwelling insurance and real estate agents that need to be ready to round up emails and chase spreadsheets that jumped the back fence.

You're getting downvoted, but you're not wrong
I live in the biggest horse breeding region in Australia and the only people who wear RMs here are office workers, a couple of old blokes and rich kids of station owners, no one who works outside for a living wears them

      • You may not be wrong but why does it matter?
It's a comfortable pair of boots that are stylish in a classic style. Who cares if "actual" country folk wear them.
Not to mention you're also supporting a product made in Australia owned by an Australian company. Get off your high horse.

      • Oh really, I was eating up the marketing!

What do the folks wear, is it more comfortable?
