  • Solid deal. I purchased the previous 4070 Ti Super build and its status is still "Picked". (Ordered 30th of April)
Is a price difference refund possible?

    • Mine just shipped, so I probably miss out :(
I wonder if the price difference is due to an aircooler instead of that AIO.
Also wished they offered 6000mhz ram in the other build, I had to opt for 16GB and bought 32GB 6000mhz separately.

      • I already got them to swap my AIO for the AG400 Air cooler (no price difference) and upgraded to 32gb 6000mhz RAM for $89 via email
Would be nice if they honour it

        • +1

PMd to see if we can figure it out

          • @luketechfast: I requested the same by email. I have to admit I’m a bit worried to see an order from 3weeks ago still pending 😭

          • @luketechfast: Same here, I emailed a few time about swapping the cooler but no reply. It’s till picking can you look into this please?

            • @ramishi: They replied to me, they will do the swap. Price difference is due to the gold power supply.

  • Anyone recommend TI over Super for the price difference?

    • The Ti Super would be worth the difference if you're planning on playing in 4K. Otherwise i'd say the Super is more than enough for 1080p and 1440p (and some 4K with DLSS)

      • Or if you want to do any kind of ai stuff.

  • +2

How come the 7900xt+7800 is the same price of this deal (4070ti Super + 78003d). The 4070ti super is more expensive.

  • +2

Any plans for a 7800X3D / 4080 Super deal again?

  • Would I notice the difference between 5200mhz and 6000mhz ram? Is there much benefit?

      • You named the same CPU twice?
If he gets the 7800X3D, won't it make a difference?

    • +1

Intel Core i7 14700F supports Memory Types Up to DDR5 5600 MT/s, so in this case, yes it can benefit a little bit

    • Ryzen 7 7800X3D and AMD Ryzen 5 7500F only supports Max Memory Speed DDR5-5200, so the answer is no benefit .

RTX 4070 Super vs 4070 Ti Super: The Ultimate Comparison

    • The real hero.

  • +4

I ordered mine back at the end of April, it only just got to the "building" phase so I think the 10 business days to delivery is a bit deceiving.

    • What date?

    • 10 business day to shipping not delivery, but still sounds like you are a bit over so I get it.

  • These prebuilt 4070 ti super prices seem quite sticky. I expected them to start about $15xx by now.

  • The price is very tempting… I already pulled the trigger. Additionally, I want to know if there's a separate warranty for the firmware apart from the one-year return-to-base warranty.

  • Is this the motherboard being used for the 7800X3D/4070 Ti Super build?

B650M WiFi motherboard (Asus Prime currently in use)

Terrible terrible motherboard…… One of the worst B650 made!

    https://youtu.be/ZtHOOyWYiic?si=GDJ4MmqVTaRT_3VX

    Hardware Unboxed 4:33 timeline

Neggig this deal as it's misleading.

No operating system, no wifi, terrible motherboard, average cooler and once you add in things you need it's no bargain.

    • +4

How does a WiFi motherboard come with no wifi?

      • +4

its probably a typo but doesn't change the fact that the mobo is garbage tier.

think the 7800x3d/4070 ti super deal is still very very good value if the mobo can be swapped out/upgraded.

        • I agree, I have already sent an email to their sales team… I hope to receive a positive response.

    • +1

I may be incorrect but they're possibly using the Asus Prime B650M-A WIFI II and while its still not a great motherboard, the PCB backside thermals only hit 73°c compared to 104°c (Non-II) in the Hardware Unboxed testing video.

Would be good if TechFast could confirm this

      • +3

        It's the II, correct.

    • -2

you can swap the motherboard to AMD X670 [ATX] Motherboard for $299

      • +1

If they want me to add $299 on motherboard, and upgrade the memory + power supply, I think I would just go for the one that costs $2888 with the 4080s + 14900kF…

  • +1

The previous deal had 120mm liquid cooler and 750W Gold PSU, which I think were worth $49 more…

  • +2

@luketechfast is it possible to swap the mboard with different brand? Thank you

AMD B650 Motherboard Roundup: VRM Thermal Testing

    • The Asus Prime II which we've dubbed the 'benchmark edition' is proving to be just that with heavy power limits out of the box to ensure the board doesn't hit 100c like the original version, which peaked at 104c. The Prime B650M-A WiFi and Prime B650-Plus technically passed our stress test as the CPU didn't throttle, but the rear side of the PCB did exceed 100c under optimal conditions, meaning the actual VRM components were at least 10c hotter.

So technically they work, but over 100c we deem a failure, as you wouldn't want to run the components at such high temperatures for extended periods of time.

  • +1

@luketechfast - could you give more details on the RAM? I think I'm going with the 6000 Mhz, but wondering what the timings are.

  • +1

The update to an AMD X670 [ATX] Motherboard for $299.00 must be a very good motherboard for that upgrade price. Are you able to give details on which one it is?

    • Hey bro, if you want to spend $299 to upgrade the motherboard, and at the same time upgrade the memory and power, then I think the 4080s + 14900KF version for $2888 is more cost-effective…

  • +2

Different option for B650 will be good.

    • +1

I couldn't agree more. But I asked the sales team, and they said this motherboard is the current model in their stock rotation and cannot be changed, which is disappointing.

    • +1

@Anthonooy We have just added the MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi to the upgrade options.

      • Thank you for providing more options; I have upgraded!

  • @luketechfast would it be possible to get a different mobo?

    • +1

We have just added the MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi to the upgrade options.

      • Hi @luketechfast I just ordered the 4070 Ti Super/ 7800X3D build over the weekend and would like to know if I can change the motherboard to this and I also don't see it in the site yet so I'm not sure about the price.

        • Refresh browser and try again for me

      • Hi @luketechfast havent seen it on the upgrade option yet, thanks.

        • +1

          Refresh and try again now

          • +1

            @luketechfast: Cools!

I have two pending orders, so i'll make the upgrade for both orders.

Its +$39 for the upgrade if anyone is wondering.

  • Guys, I was wondering if upgrading to Liquid cooling (360mm All-In-One Liquid CPU Cooler) and a better PSU (850W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply) would be a good idea. First time buying a build boys so go easy on me.

  • do you think worth to add $600 for this one instead 4080

    • +1

I upgraded the motherboard, memory, and power supply to the same level as the one with the 4080s (except for liquid cooler, as I prefer air cooler), and added an SSD, costing around 2266.

This difference of 433 compared to 2699 is exactly the price difference between the 4070 Ti and the 4080s. So, I think both orders are great, depending on whether you need a better GPU.

      • which power supply you choose?

        • +1

750W 80 Plus Gold, I believe this power supply is sufficient to handle the combination of the 7800X3D and 4070 Ti Super.

  • Checking if you have other air cooler like the Deepcool Ak500 digital?

    • No - these really large bulky coolers don't travel well in our experience.

  • @luketechfast in terms of the case options for cooling would you say [MSI MAG FORGE AIRFLOW 320R Mid Tower Case] is better than [Antec P20C ARGB Black Mid Tower E-ATX Case]?

    • +1

They are pretty much on par. P20C front panel is a little more structurally rigid, but other than that they basically have the same functionality - P20C does have a front USB-C port which these boards both have on board, so there is that.

  • @luketechfast what power supply do you use for the 750w gold (Ryzen 7 4070 ti super)? Is it the XPG? What model of XPG? Thanks, looking to pull the trigger soon

  • Howdy! Great deals all round Luke, thanks for the hard work. I’m eyeing off the 7800X3D-RTX with the 4070ti Super. Any MATX cases floating around that would fit this @luketechfast?

    • Yep, either of the Leaper Cruise cases (black or white) would work as long as you have the Ag400 or 120mm AIO cooler (not compatbile with 240mm)- not offered here because it can cause confusion but if you want that case you can buy as is and request via [email protected]. Here's a deal with those cases so you can see them - click the links to see them in the gallery.

      • Thanks for the speedy reply Luke.
        Have a good'un

  • @luketechfast the page for the Intel Core i5 12400F | RTX 4070 Super Gaming PC deal is broken. It's lists all AMD components except for the CPU

Thanks for the heads up - fixed.

  • @luketechfast - I'm trying to order the RTX 4070Ti Super, R7-7800X3D deal (with upgraded motherboard, RAM, case, PSU), but the payment keeps failing. My credit card details are correct and the card is definitely valid - is there an issue with payments at the moment?

    • PMd you - we know the cause, trying to figure out a solution. For those playing at home, it was a VPN type thing, different device worked fine.

  • Hi @luketechfast and everyone, I'm wondering if you think this is the right guidance on installing our own Windows if we choose the Linux Mint system? I'd like to understand this better before choosing the Linux and ordering this PC?

Just ordered the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RTX 4070 Ti Super Gaming PC with the gaming motherboard and 32gb of ram. First new PC since 2018, I'm so pumped!

    • Do you guys think AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with less core compare to the 14th gen Intel with more cores and threads is good enough for productivity use and what's the main difference and benefits of Intel more core CPUs in general? If i don't care about graphic design or anything intensive like AI, etc what's the drawback of an AMD or Intel?
