      Court case is in September…

      Let us know the outcome

    • Tell us more details.

It's a good thing that justice is blind.

    • +5

yar 'tis no man, but a remorseless eating machine

  • +1

That brisket looks pretty miserable. Dunno about this one.

  • Is it actually smoked?

Update: apparently the brisket is at least.

  • +4

    TGIF but thursday ok

Need a partner in crime for TGIF NARRE WARREN Fountain gate Victoria

    • +6

      Ayyo I'm down lmao.

      • +3

        surely kiss

        • +3

          Kissy kissy kissy. ;)

I don't joke about unlimited eating/drinking. You should see the (profanity) piss I did after the 1.5ish hour drive home from Costco yesterday after smashing 6 or 7 of those Pepsi cups in about 40 odd minutes. Big pain, then big relief, then "holy shit how long have I been standing out here in the goddamn cold peeing", anyway

We live a good deal further out than Narre Warren, but 4 times in a fortnight I have to drive through there for work stuff, every second Thursday is one of those days. I am 100000% down to smash a big ol' lunch with a stranger, lets go!

BBQ quality on Thursdays means that you'll Thank God Its Friday

    • just a joke, seems like a good deal

  • what's included in the Smokehouse BBQ Share Platter?

    • +5

Grain fed smoked beef brisket and a half rack of baby back pork ribs in our Apple-Bourbon BBQ sauce, six Bourbon-Hot Honey chicken wings, Mac ‘n’ Cheese, apple slaw, shoestring fries, bread and butter pickles and pickled red onion

I wonder if they will make you finish the Mac n Cheese and Fries, and bread, before they give you the next platter.

      • +1

good question because i wont be finishing the Mac n Cheese.

      • +1

Yeah exactly - it's less compelling as a deal if you're forced to finish off the carbs (if you're mainly there for the meat)

      • +3

You have to finish the entire platter before getting your next one.

        • +1

Well I guess that is the catch then

        • +3

          What if.you're gluten free?
I guess the uncontrollable diarrhoea will help you finish platters.

      • +4

Take the carbs into the toilet bin and order next platter

        • +7

Or put them in various places Mr Bean style

      • Anyone done the breakdown of the cosg items of this? As this isnt a usual menu.

Especially if 2 people have to pay ($70) as a common combo is 1 man and 1 women (which is what many of these places bank on for these offers), and also 1 person tens to eat big and the other 1 small).

And anyone know if you have to include a child in the deal. As may be a deal breaker for Married couple and a child, etc.

Lots of land whales rolling around these days. This could backfire bad.

    • +4

First time I have heard the term land whales, excellent

    • A lot of them must be on OzBargain, claiming they can eat an entire KFC family meal by themselves.

  • TGI Thursdays!

  • Is this better than Sizzler or is Sizzler still considered the crème de la crème?

    • Sizzler? Aren't they really still around ?

  • Is membership free?

  • +2

it comes out slow, so by the time they come in the second round you are pretty much full already. i need to eat a lot fast and early before my stomach tells my brain that i am full.
so you are just better buying a rack of ribs instead of buying bottomless.

    • +1

yeah it sucks that theres always some catch for it.

I remember going to an all you can eat chilli mussels once, and the more you ordered, the saltier they became. its almost like they put extra salt in them to deter you from eating more.

    • Yup, that was our experience with this japanese restaurant in burwood that was all you can eat (limited by time). Even though there were hardly any customers, they were soo slow bringing things out.

    For sydney people…..
You might as well spend your money @butcher's buffet for a couple of dollars more for the variety and quality of food.

Also at their other restaurant business arisun.com.au at cbd there is a current running promo

Spend $120 and get 3x $40 voucher for butcher buffet.
