  • Any trade-in deals if I have an S10+?

    • Better off selling it privately. Trade-in prices are usually well below market rates (just like trading in a car)

    • Their website quoted $260 plus a bonus $200 (if towards the Note 10) for a S10 5g….

      That's terrible.

  • How come I am getting $1699.15 when I log in to Samsung Govt epp? Is it different for different businesses?

    • Yes it is

    • Shame, can't even sign up anyway due to my work blocking the email (I assume).

    • Yeah showing same price for me also. Hoping there's some discount codes people on here will be selling (apart from the $50 discount one for signing up to their marketing spam).

  • Says it's only available to NAB employee's using the provided link.

Lol, discounts before a product is even on sale now! The old comment about waiting a month and it will be $200 cheaper doesn't even take you past a launch event any more.

    • This isn't a retailer discount though.

Will be interesting to see if any do before launch…

    • +3

Samsung always offer deals for those that pre-order. Usually takes 2 months post launch to get equivalent deals once more, usually without the bonuses (buds, wireless battery pack etc)

  • +1

Be mindful these phones dont come with the galaxy buds (asked the online chat)

  • +1

1699 in the Australian government site for the SM-G988BZAAXSA :(

    • Probably too many Govt employees abusing the EPP by reselling phones for profit in ozB classifieds in the past?

      • +1

And that is why we can't have nice things.

S20, $1,146.65 for government employee meh, wanted to upgrade my s8 too. Would of liked 1099 with buds that should be included after the removed the headphone jack

  • I just logged in to my employee portal and the Ultra was $1599.20 for me. Not sure how it compares to retail but it sounds better value than the iPhone 11 Pro Max equivalent on the employee portal. Pity the employee page doesn't have any foldables :(

    • Sounds a good price.
My son is looking to buy one but $1999 I’m trying to talk him out of it.

Wish he (or myself) had an employee program to buy.

      • I would offer to help but given you aren’t in Sydney and it’s quite a bit of cash involved, I’ll let someone else step up. Good luck.

      • are you in brisbane mate? might be able to help u out

Perhaps keep an eye out on the classifieds. People will definitely be selling their 50% off EPP codes soon if the past few releases are anything to go by

        • Wow really how do people put a price on that exactly. How much do they pop up for?

          • @H-Culture: They're usually priced to be slightly cheaper than the cheapest you can get via the usual EPP methods.

Considering the best deal for the absolute top model of the phone is $1520, and the price using the 50% off code would be $1120, it would be reasonable to presume it'd cost about $300. Even after factoring in the cost of the code you'd still be saving an extra $100 on top of the ozb deal.

            • @Shekster: But dont those codes only work on the partner sites? I had tried one of those codes on the regular samsung site and it did not work. It worked for another friend who used it on the partner site.

              • @vcs641988: Ccorrect, so you'd simply just go onto the partner site and checkout from there (there is no login required, and you can simply click checkout as guest).

You'll still get a full invoice in your name etc. that can be used for TRS claims as well.

                • -1

@Shekster: And how long will it take for that to come out? Or has it already been released just pending ppl selling them? cheers

                  • @LennyT: I'm not sure on the exact date but usually a week or so after the official unveiling is when they start to send out the details for it.

                    • @Shekster: thanks. I'll continue to keep an eye out. The EPP is still tempting though for S20 Ultra at 1599.20 but obviously if it's cheaper. Why not ?

  • Will any of the other retailers Price Match/Price Beat the EPP deals?

  • hey all are the prices listed above what people seeing on the site? or with the 50% off applied?

Telstra login im seeing these prices
    SM-G980FZAATEL - $1,349.00
    SM-G986BZAATEL - $1,649.00
    SM-G988BZAATEL - $1,999.00

    • Does telstra site have s20 ultra in 512gb listed? Most of my friends with other carrier sites have only 128gb listed.

    • Telstra have 50% codes.
      SM-G988BZAATEL - $999.50
      with the code.

      • how do I get this?

  • +1

There's an extra $50 voucher too when you log into the Samsung EPP site. Disable your popup blocker and it appears in the bottom of the homepage. It asks for your name and email, to sign up for Samsung communications. Do that and it gives you a one time voucher for $50 off.

So the S20 Ultra 128GB is $1549.20, with the bonus wireless battery pack, which is better than nothing I guess.

  • My employee portal showing it at $1599 for 128gb. If anybody wants it i can order it for them. But it also says that this discounted offer does not qualify for the free galaxy buds.

    • how do you order it for them..?

  • Has the S10+ been further discounted?

  • Any perth based people, not interested willing to order it for us?

  • read this if you plan to buy the basic model https://edition.cnn.com/2020/02/13/tech/samsung-s20-5g-conne…

  • Looking at the s20+ for $1199 :)
Thinking to get the Samsung case, leather or silicone, do people rate the Samsung cases well or should I go for a Spigen case?

  • do i need to use the work computer to login??

  • Got hold of an epp login from a friend. Can't get the $50 newsletter pop up at all. Turned off all ad blockers and tried 3 browsers and no luck.
Also is it true the additional tof camera on the s20 plus will only be used to augmented reality?

    • It just showed up automatically for me. Try the Chrome browser on Android in incognito mode. I found that after signing up to it, the banner appears again if you close the browser and sign in again, use a different email and you get another code!. You can't stack them of course, not sure if you can use it again in the same EPP account…hmmmm

      • It seems I have to do it from her computer as it's somehow linked to her. I logged in from her account my computer and I get standard pricing. So in turn I can't get the pop up on her pc.
Do you have a spare code? Does it work that way lol

      • Or perhaps someone can just enter my email address to get the newsletter code sent to me? That would be great if that could be done

  • Can't we just get the freaking Snapdragon :(

    • +1

Yea, so annoying. Apparently it is marginally better than the Exynos 990.

Its about volume for them, there's probably not enough Snapdragon chips.

  • They've got me, I'm gonna upgrade from the S10 5G to the S20 Ultra…

  • If there is anyone with access to the 50% off EPP (Optus, Telstra, JB employees etc) could you please let me know the delivery date showing on the preorder page, particularly for the S20 Ultra black 128gb.

    • S20 Ultra Grey has it marked for 9th April shipping

  • How does the camera quality including night mode compare to iphone 11 pro?

  • Can I use parcel locker address?

  • Is it worth waiting for prices to drop if I already have access to these discounts? I assume it'd take several months for the phones to be as cheap (retail) as they are now with a student discount (i.e. $1600 for the Ultra 5G).

  • Anyone try to get a refund for changing their mind? Had to email onlinesupport since they aren't taking phone calls due to covid-19. It's been a couple of days and I haven't gotten a response yet or the shipping label yet.
