What Is The OzBargain Coffee of Choice?

Wanted to get some suggestions for a rock solid coffee, or any coffee that offers a good taste to value ratio for an at home espresso machine. I used to quite like the Organic Grinds from ALDI but they've disappeared from stores near me in Melbourne. In need of a decent replacement that isn't $40 a kilo.

Hoping some people with much better knowledge of coffee than me can help out with some suggestions. Basically I'm looking for the Eneloops of coffee. What is the OzBargain coffee of choice?

  • If you're looking for cheap as you can get, the Aldi ones get the job done. Otherwise if you get through a lot, consider a subscription from one of your local roasters., price isn't too bad

  • I have found the perfect coffee bean blend for me, I urge you to try it.

50/50 blend of Vittoria Mountain Grown and Sicilia Double Roast coffee beans.

    • Found Vittoria (Mountain) to be undrinkable, personally.

  • Harris is $20/kg at Coles now, I expect Woolies will mirror that.
Glad for this topic pointing me to the Coles Urban 1kg at $12.
We consider it 90% as good, for 60% the price.
