Is this the sort of thing you wear on public transport to blast out Kerser? asking for a lad.

    • +1

My mate uses it because he works in a warehouse and can't wear headphones, he can use this to listen to music and still be able to hear everything else though. It's pretty directional. (He has the Bose one though).

      • it would be a very bad idea having headphones on in a warehouse where heavy machinery like forklifts are going through.

        • +2

Bone conduction headphones would be perfect for warehouse/cycling.

  • Hmmm does this has a microphone in it? Couldn't seem to see it in the item description but shows an image of a chick making a call.

Tried one 3 months ago and ended up returning it. Average sound and not good mic. Good for novelty or for kids.

    • +3

Not much of a review. Didn't actually use them.

      • +2

More an unboxing than a review.

    A fake Bose

    • +2

Well not exactly. Its not claiming to be. Its even got features the bose don't have. Like fm radio and can take 32GB microsd cards. Presumably for music on the go.

And being priced under $20 no one should ever expect the performance of something like the bose that's more than 10 times the price.

  • If you haven't experienced a neckband type speaker, it's not a bad idea to try it at a low price. However, I bought it two months ago and used it for a day and now I don't know where it is in the house. And 2.5 out of 5 stars can be considered for price, so don't expect sound quality.

  • I have it for almost 6 months. Its great. I only listen to podcasts, audio books.

D Bluetooth devArs have been a connected

I don't know if I am going to use it but I just bought one. Thanks

    • +2

      That's the ozbargzin spirit.

  • Ok so you wear this but if you are playing music, isn’t the person next to me on the train will hear it?

    • i think so..

    • They will hear it and so what? You can wear it when you are driving, taking dogs to walk, lying on the beach… just do whatever but don’t play it too loud. You got the volume control, it will be like a radio on your neck :)

    • -2

if you wear this, i am pretty sure the person next to me will not hear it.

    • +3

If you use this on public transport, you're an imbecile. For use around the house or away from others only.

      • +1

If you use this on public transport, you're an imbecile.

This. A billion times this. Far too many inconsiderate arse hats like those who play music on their phones loudspeaker. Or a Bluetooth speaker in public transport.

  • Will watch the review after I buy first. Thanks OP!

    • Is this like OzBargain roulette?

    I think it expired…

    • +1

Yeah doesn't seem to be working for me, what a shame.

    • yeah likewise, just missed it also. =[

  • both codes no longer work???

  • Its a lightning deal now at $27.19.

  • +1

Shame I missed this one - I could have been the coolest weirdo on the block.

  • Got mine yesterday, left speakers aren't working and I'm now in the process of returning it lol. Sound quality from the right speakers was average. Also, there was some static noise when there was no sound. Prob just about worth 20$

  • Got mine yesterday as well, works but not worth $19.19, the speakers are very low in terms of volume and strange buzzing sound coming out of them when no music/silent. Will return this I think… shame as I was super excited for it ;-/

  • Got mine today, works fine. Sound is ok and I'm assuming I look like a complete idiot wearing them. I prefer to know whats going on around me and usual only use one of the two earbuds from my jaybird tarah's because of it. Pretty sure these wont last but $20 well spent.

  • IMO they are pretty crappy feeling, hard plastic and sharp buttons and edges ( will end up sanding them) no real directional sound( basically shoulder mounted Bluetooth speaker).

mainly mids and highs and wont be good for bassy listening but that's not going to be their use!

FM works well and they aren't too uncomfortable even though they are hard plastic, i don't think will stand up to any water / moisture exposure because the ports are open and buttons are "gappy".

i'll end up keeping them as they will be ideal for listening to music where i need spacial awareness and also when on site if they get broken and dirty it wont be the end of the world. (saves carrying a jobsite radio!)

definitely not for listening to at any real volume or near other people as Everybody will hear what you are playing!

although on the up side you can just use them as a non personal speaker.

for $20 they are OK …. at original price i would almost certainly return them
