Any carpet heads for the V10?

    • +5

+1 on that, still waiting on availability from the V10 deal months ago.

      • new

      • Looking to grab the V11, what's the difference between these two?

    • Does anyone know if the carpet head copes better with pet hair than the standard hard floor head of the v11? I have two long haired pets and I am having to stop multiple times during vacuuming to clean the head (the main roller is quick and easy to clean but the little rollers are the pits to lever out and free up). It actually gets quite hard to push if I leave them and they clog up almost instantly.

      • As the owner of an endlessly shedding golden retriever, I know exactly what you mean. It doesn't bother me too much but it is a pain.
I don't know if the carpet head is any better but hopefully it is

    • They provided below ebay link when I emailed them.

Do you happen to have 3 small pin roller wheel parts for the v9 vacuum heads?

    • Please PM with image, I will check for you.

    • Hey suudo, does the vaccum work without these in, thinking of taking mine out because they drive me nuts

      • I think having the wheels on is better since the only contact you have with the grounds are these wheels , without these you would be dragging the whole vaccuum head against the ground. This will cause more friction. I know it's quite a pain because hair and dirty get stuck in the roller wheels.

You can try and take them off with a small flat head screwdriver and see how you go.

  • Is there a reason you stopped selling the dreame d9? Was sold as a big deal and I bought 2, but haven't had any software updates to fix issues in months. Or add the Google home support.

    • Sold out at this moment.

      • No problem. Hope they come back and dreame. Implement some fixes. Still lose my map sometimes, and can't split the rooms properly.

  • Bought the V9 from you guys..
Has been a pretty good stick, but V9 battery is shot. Full charge drops to one led and starts cutting out within a minute or so.
Batteries are hens teeth or overly exxy.

There doesn't look to be that much difference between the G10 and the V11, is there any reason why most prefer the V11?
I bought the G10 a few deals ago and it feels pretty good already.

    • I too would like to know if the v11 is worth the extra $$$?

      • If you have carpet, go with g10, if you have hard floor go with v11.

Even though v11 has an option to purchase a carpet head, that would also add at least $50-$60 to the price and is subject to availability. I have never seen it available since early this year tbh.

More accessories for v11 but you mostly won't use them and will end up sitting in storage. G10 gives you just enough of what you need (3 extra heads)

Also, G10 parts are all removable and washable (except the battery ofc). I like it that way.

    • You get less accessories with G series compared to V series. That alone probably makes the difference in price.

      • Looking at it closer the V11 does have that carpet cleaner which is quite tempting. But yeah that makes sense.

        • What carpet cleaner? Oh do you mean option of buying carpet head?

        • The thing that's a deal breaker for me with the V series is that the dust bin is not removable like it is with the G10. V11 doesn't have a removable battery either where as the G10 does, not that that makes much difference since the batteries are expensive anyway. Having the option of a flexible hose is another deal breaker which the G10 doesn't have. However, you can mod the flexible hose for the V series to make it fit on the G10 :) Considering the flexible hose can be had for around $40, the total would be similar price to the V11. I have decided that the G10 is for me. Lack of carpet head is not a deal breaker as the G10's head is multipurpose anyway.

    • I'm going G10 for the tangle free head

  • I'm still waiting for my vacuum from last deal(purchased at mid-Sep).

    • should not take so long, please let me know your order detail, i will happy to check.

  • Do you have any vouchers for the new T30?

    • Sold out at this moment.

  • Thanks OP, I bought a G10 on one of the previous deals, and it has been excellent. The only thing is, we can't seem to find anywhere to buy a flexible hose attachment. Do you have these?, can you use the same from another model?, or know where else we can get one? Thanks!

    • flexible hose for other one was sold out at this moment.

    • Same here, back in stock and ready to be shipped on Oct 1 and I’m still waiting for it now. I know it’s probably a problem with AusPost being incompetent, but….

    • You can buy the flexible hose for the V9/V10 and dremel or file a groove into one of the ends to make it fit onto the G10. People have done it with those bought from AliExpress. Check the comments for pictures.

      • Amazing - thanks! - I would never have found that… I'll give that a try.

I don't recommend V11. Its an excellent vaccum but theres a design flaw in the dust bin hinge mechanism. Hinge is extremely weak and bin flap broke after using it for less than 8 times. Vaccum is only used once a week for 20 minutes for less than 8 weeks. Now I have a useless vaccum that isn't repairable. Bought from gearbite but didn't really ask them what to do. It won't be covered by warranty any ways.

    • +1

Please contact our team at cs@gearbite with image, we should able to help you out.

    • Based upon your one data set? We have a V11, have had it for ~1year, opened well over 8 times and have had no issues with the hinge. I wish the internet would stop saying things that sound conclusive when they are not…

Not saying you are wrong to expect that it should last longer, but there is a difference between saying that yours broke and that there is a "design flaw".

      • Have a good look at the hinge and see it for yourself. It is held using really small piece of plastic

      • Same. Had it for about 8 months and haven't had any issue with the hinge.

One thing I noticed with the vaccum however is that it is better at sucking up debris when you are pushing it away from you. When you pull it towards you, it struggles to pick up things, which is a bit annoying.

  • Please respond to my ebay message @gearbite! 🙏

  • i guess not worth an upgrade if you have the v9/v9p?

  • how do you guys find it going from corded to cordless? pls convert me

    • Tangle-free operation.
      Portability.

    • I have both. Miele corded and V10. V10 for convenience and quick cleans and to do my large, tiled areas. Miele when I want to give the carpets a better clean. Don't really get the Miele out all that often but it is much more powerful. I dont even bother doing the car with the V10 as it doesn't really get much dirt out of carpet. Or cat hair!

      • Thanks guys. Fred do you have the carpet attachment?

        • Yes. Mine came with the powered carpet head.

    • cordless is good for smaller areas, vacuuming more often (or if you have a smaller place).

large vac better if you prefer to do a large vacuum in one go.

We have upright corded vac plus a cordless each for upstairs and downstairs. We pull out the corded much less often these days.

    • Once you go cordless you will never go back to corded.

That's what I find with most things.

      • +2

i have a dreame v9 and a miele c3, and still use the miele more. the dreame is handy for quick jobs on small areas, but the miele just destroys it in every other way. the very minor inconvenience of the cord is easily worth the vast increase in efficiency.

        • I have a dreame v11 (which replaced dyson v6) and miele c3 and can't remember the last time I used the miele. It would have been at least 2 years ago since I pulled it out. It's powerful but it's so freaking heavy and difficult to maneuver with the cord. Don't think I will ever use it again TBH.

        • I guess it is different for everyone. One thing for sure is cordless is nowhere as near powerful as corded but in my case, those extra power was outweighed by not having to deal with the cord.

Another scenario where I think the corded would be better is if you have a large area to cover and your cordless battery simply won't be enough to do in one go.

  • Are there any reputable reviews on the Dreame L10 Pro? That suction power is nuts!

  • Hi rep,

just wondering if you guys also the version of v11 that has a V shape brush? Eg. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dreame-V11-Cordless-Stick-Vacuum…

    Thanks in advance.

    • Very limit carpet head at this moment.

  • Do any of the stick vacuums have a decent hepa filter?
What are they like on hard floors?

    • I believe most of the stick vacuums have a HEPA filter. Dyson and LG have one, and I'm pretty sure this has one too, or at least something similar. The only ones that might not have them are the really cheap Vax ones.

I've never had any allergy problems or weird smells when using the Dreame V9.

The one that I have, which I think is just the standard V9, is designed for hard floors. We use it on polished concrete and it is excellent.

  • Which would be best for carpet? Reading some reviews the V11 doesn't come with a carpet attachment?

  • -2

I bought this a week ago for 359 from Kogan.

Anyway I could get some money back

I have 4 bedroom and after it is done, still it has 32% power left

  • how much suction power does dyson handheld have?

    • +2

It is probably 90% power compared to Dyson at 30% the price. It's strong enough in my opinion.

  • Got the Dreame V9 from GB during the $99 sale. Must say I was impressed and have stopped using the wired vacuum cleaner ever since this arrived. Would be better if there was a carpet head for this one.

    • V9 for $99? Don't you mean the Trouver?

  • Mostly tiled house with bedrooms being carpeted,
No Pets to worry about Fur
Which would be the best option?

    • Very interested also, house wooden floor sexcept carpeted bedrooms,do have a dog that's casts an average amount would be very interested to know what's the best bang for your buck robot vac

  • Rep, what’s the difference between V10 and V11?
    I only have hard floors

    • I have the same question. Anyone?

    • +1

I think it comes with different color, V11 also comes with a screen and it's more powerful (150AW > 140AW), has better battery life (90mins > 60 mins).

You can kind of see all specs in the table above with the post.

  • HI rep. I own the Mi G10 and love it.
But I can't find a floor stand for it anywhere (I can't fix it to my wall because I rent). Similar to this - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/114340857705.
Do you sell floor stands for the G10?

    • We do sell dreame floor stand, but need to check if that fit?

      • Are you able to check? I can't find information about compatibility.

    • I fixed my wall mount to the side of a shelf in the garage as I'm in a rental too.

  • Do you sell the carpet head for V10? would buy a V10 if available.

  • Hi all

I have hard floors only and was told to get roborock s7 as it can vacuum and mop. Saw that the Dreame L10 pro can do the same but at half the price - any thoughts on the pros and cons? Also told that the roborock will have a self emptying bin as an extra attachment - any idea if Dreame will have that?

And how's the Walkingpad Pro R2? Seems more expensive than other compact treadmill or even full sized budget treadmill, but it seems to be the most foldable to me - is that what we are paying the premium for?

    Thanks all

  • 4000pa on the dreame l10pro is pretty insane.

Does anyone know if it's obscenely loud? Can it be operated on lower suction?

Being in a townhouse, wouldn't want to be disturbed during the night by it

  • Any vacuums that aren't cordless and connect to a powerpoint?

  • Hi rep, is there any chance to get Dreame V12 this year?

  • Oh no, V11 is out of stock…

  • Z10 pro robot vac soon?

  • +5

    Buyer be warned..

I don't recommend getting these devices as the warranty support is zero.

I bought one unit 6 months ago and the battery is not longer holding charge ( only light use), texted the support multiple times but all requests are ignored.

There are many local stock with varies of different brands. Think twice when buying these chinese (no local supports) brands. Sure, u get what u pay for. Just don't expect support when you need one.

    • What did you get instead?

  • Any xiaomi air purifier?

  • just wondering where you guys find dreame v11. I couldn't find the link

    Thanks

  • love my Xiaomi Mi G10 $279, great machine

  • The G10 seems to be sold out

  • Are the T20s still being sold?
