Just encountered a online flashcard website, my little one is really enjoying it. Thought to share with other parents too, myfirstword
I am not sure if its safe for kids to watch mobile for such flashcards, I guess its better than youtube and TV. I noticed the website has picture and some gif flashcards. main website
is it safe for kids?????
I have many paper flashcards but my kids make mess all the time. When I showed these video flashcard to my younger kid, he really enjoyed. Its convenient and attractive but not sure about the increased screen time with these online flashcard.
At first glance it looks like the images move a bit too quickly. At the end of the day it’s still screen time. I’ve just got a bunch of actual cardboard flash cards from op shops and Kmart that my toddler enjoys, mostly because we sit down and do them together. No harm if your kid is into this website, as long as they are still within whatever you’re comfortable with for screen time.
