    Based on the recent comments on productreview.com.au, my answer is BIG NO. However, according to EyeBuyDirect blog, they did mention insurance cover, but it could be for US, nothing mentioned for AUS.

  I'm tempted to try them out. I'm going for an eye check at Specsavers this afternoon,but they are hella expensive. I paid $500 a few years back,and they ended up breaking after a few months.

  My lenses are thick due to my eye health,unsure if they would be able to do it

    Had similar experiences at Specsavers, even sale frames + glasses cost more than $100. Ended up getting from EBD… Only thing is to wait a fortnight to get it. Decent offer & good range of frames.. Nothing wrong to try.
