What would be reasonable? I mean, MacBooks are already competitively priced versus comparable Windows laptops.
Ah yes competitive pricing like $300 for 8gb more ram and $300 more for 512gb over 256, the latter of which you need because of how they cut down the 256gb
I agree about the 'upsell' when configuring these machines, but my point is that comparable Windows Laptops are just as, if not more expensive.

No. It’s 10% off Apple’s RRP, which hasn’t changed since the computers were introduced - which is how Apple does things.

@ihfree: There is no other laptop with silicon chip so you cannot compare. All i know is that Apple m1 silicon prices are inflated. Only 8gb ram and 256 ssd and you paying $2k..
