Oh really? Darn. The Amazon confirmation is telling me I'll get the game tomorrow, but then again those promises don't always eventuate.
That's not true at all. I can literally place the order right now and it's giving me guaranteed delivery for tomorrow's release date.
Have pre-ordered plenty of games via Amazon and it has always arrived on time. They usually dispatch it the night before the release day, although now with how much faster their distribution is, they've even sent it out on the morning of release and still have it delivered to me before lunch.
It's been hit and miss after Covid. Just recently I didn't get Valkyrie Elysium until a week after release.

My mate from the Gold Coast got his on release day from Amazon and pre ordered it on the Wensdy (release day was Friday).
PSA, I just walked into EB this arv and got the day one edition and asked them to price match BigW for $95. He said no worries. The latest OZB posts have not been the day 1 edition.

It's weird/stupid how it works, I get things delivered next day once it ships. But for me it says GoW wont ship out till tomorrow. You'd think they'd ship it out today for tomorrow release like yours, but mine wouldn't ship till tomorrow. It's bizarre.

You don't know why they are slowly releasing stock. Could be any number of reasons.

You wont get it on release unfortunately, amazon changed it a while back they now send games on release day instead of before, its such a shame i wish theyd go back to sending games before release.
