Why was the lithium heated jacket a stand-up comedian? Because it always 'warms up' the crowd!

Don't blame me, ChatGPT told me to say it

Since my joke wasn't warmly received, I thought I'd have ChatGPT go through the reviews and share its findings:

The reviews for the heated jacket are predominantly positive. Customers praise its quality, heating effectiveness, and the ability to keep them warm in cold weather. Some noted it's excellent for outdoor activities and sports events. Some customers expressed their love for the brand Ororo, making repeated purchases. The fit and size were generally satisfactory, although a few customers felt it ran big and one customer wished for heated arms. Issues with bulk due to the battery pack and some stiffness were also noted. The battery life and heat-up speed are appreciated, but one review mentioned the low heat setting being barely noticeable.

Would love to get one, but the very one thing that really sucks about these jackets is that the battery is not a standard USB-C/-A input/output, as they say:
    1 x Lithium-Ion Battery (4800 mAh, 7.4V)
    1 x USB-C Charger (input voltage: 100-240V)

Looking at their pictures, the battery connects to the jacket via a non standard connector, which makes it not possible to use any USB-C power bank, unlike what Ministry of Supply used to make for their Mercury Jacket (not so sure about now). Which means that you can't just use your phone power bank as a spare.
The replacement batteries are $109, so buying replacements/spares in the longer term are very very expensive (especially for a 4800 mAh and even if you can use it to charge your phone, this capacity is too low to fulfil both functions conveniently). By the looks of it, seems like the two battery cells are 18650s, which definitely does not justify $109 imo.

From personal experience with a Mercury Jacket, 10000mAh lasts at most 4 hours, so I doubt 4800 mAh would last a full 3 hours on a high setting, even less if you need to charge your phone in an emergency.
