Amazon is having just upped their discount from 12% to 13% discount on the Gundam Aerial Full Mechanics. Probably the cheapest price so far. Seems like it was pretty popular when it was $58.06

            @zrmx: Well spoiler alert …

            They are female
            EVA01 has the soul of Yui (Shinji's mom) who sacrifice her body to save the others. EVA00 were clone of EVA01 as well as Rei the clone of Yui after above incident. EVA02 has the soul of Asuka's mom who went crazy and try to commit suicide but failed and trapped inside.
            The rest EVAs are different on every reboot and barely explained.

              @mfu: So are we discussing the EVA units as a whole, including all consciousness/souls inside? Or are we discussing the physicality/"physiology" of them? The souls are inside, but introduced in an artificial way, so would that still count?

              Also are we discussing the original TV series or Rebuild?

              @mfu: EVA01 was produced before Yui was absorbed i to it. So its gender is not dependent on Yui's gender. It is a clone of Lilith, so what gender is Lilith in that backstory?

          EVA units are not mecha, they are giant humanoid organism. So, they might have a reproductive organ, but it is never shown in the movies.

      It's a robot, but way more feminine than other gundam models. It's piloted by a teenage girl. The hourglass shape is very deliberate

          I mean literally they build the kits, then after a while sell to make space for more. I may have to do so soon too…
          some are as is, some are custom painted etc so just see the usual markets

      The Tamashii Nations and Chogokin range of Gundam, though not as cheap. Bandai Spirits has a regular priced action figure line.

      It'd be like buying pre-made LEGO; pointless (to me).

      You want good Gundam action figures? Check out Bandai's own ROBOT Damashii line. Can vouch for their quality (or at least when I was deep into them years ago - but Bandai rarely skimp on quality for Gundam).

    1/100 for Gundam is way smaller than 1/100 for an Evangelion or something.

      A typical Gundam is around 18m while an Eva can be multiple times that size depending on the scene.

    Ceebs posting a new post, but for anyone interested in ~<$70 MG kits, Mg 1/100 Force Impulse Gundam for $69.95 - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09K3WPQN5 (this kit if the amazon images are correct: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/bandai-0154498-force-impulse…). The kit also seem to include an "anti-ship sword".

    Do note that if you are/can be in Japan, the street pricing seems to be ~5500 yen, so around ~$58 ie cheaper.
