  • Yes you do the passport is required to unlock/register the IMEI for 3 months.

Someone I know just went to Thailand earlier in the year and the sim card price was so high it was like they got robbed. This seems reasonable.

Hey everyone there is no sale for other SIMs at the moment, please stay tune :)

  • Is it cheaper to buy that online or directly in Bali ?

  • Is the sim card only good for Bali? It makes no mention of that in this listing, but the description on your website seems to say that you only get a few GB to use outside of Bali?

    • The is mostly a Bali SIM due to the data allowance being skewed towards Bali. But this definitely works in other parts of Indonesia albeit with a smaller data allowance.

Please note you can also recharge to top up the data for nationwide usage

      -Anton

  • Can I get some clarification on what the expiry date means?

Does it mean that the card must be activated before that date for the service to work for the full period of time? Or, does it mean that the SIM card will stop working on the expiry date, regardless of when it was activated?

i.e. If I purchase the Thailand SIM card from the deal, and activate it on 29 December, will it still work for all 8 days? Or will it stop working on 31 December?

    • +1

      Hello

Expiry = need to be activated by this date.

Validity will be 8 days from the activation date, activating on 29 December means you will have 8 days from 29 December.

      -Anton

      • Excellent - thank you for clarifying.

      • If I activate the SIM on 1st Nov 10pm then do I have until 9th Nov 10pm?

        • It is based on natural day not 24 hours.

Why does it say "For use in all of Indonesia (mostly Bali)"?

If these are Telkomsel tourist SIM packs, they don't work in "mostly Bali", they work anywhere in Indonesia with Telkomsel coverage. It just seems redundant to add "mostly Bali" to something that is already blatently obvious.

    • +1

Reading the product description further shows that a majority of data allowance is skewed towards Bali:

14GB of data (8.5GB Bali, 2.5GB Nationwide, 3GB Social Apps)

      • @chuac That's correct :)

@bonezAU This is NOT the Telkomsel tourist SIM pack - please read to product page carefully.

        -Anton

        • thanks for clarifying, I'll pass on this

  • Highly rate these guys. Have purchased many times and have all worked really well. Very responsive email support helped me with an issue even on the weekend!

    • Thank you for the support and the kind words, we do provide a fast response time on our live chat to troubleshoot any issues :)

  • Any chance with other Asian country Sim card like China hongkong etc?

  • What is the advantage in this over a tourist sim for Bali?

  • Are the Indonesian sims data only (i.e. you cannot make local call?).

data seems to be split 15GB of data (9GB Nationwide + 6GB Bali, Lombok, Sumba, Labuan Bajo, Kupang). Does that means if i was to stay in Bali and do not travel elsewhere, my data is limited to 6gb? Thanks.

    • +1

For the IM3 - there is a 60 minutes voice to IM3 and Tri network, for all other calls you will need to recharge to be able to use voice calls.

Nationwide includes Bali so you will have 15GB full to be used in Bali.

  • So much for 100% money back guarantee.
My SIM card data wouldn’t work and they just stopped replying as soon as I asked for refund.

    • Hello - May I know the order number? or where did you contact us for me to check?

Please understand we deals mostly with troubleshooting queries, if we promised a refund it will be processed within 3-5 business days.

Hello we just noticed you sent to our Indonesian travelkon account which is actually not monitored by us but by the Indonesian local operator - this email is only used to request missing information that is needed to activate your SIM card (example: passport photo or SIM card photo that was not submitted correctly)

We do apologies for the inconvenience and confusion - there was a miscommunication between the local partner on how the Indonesian account is monitored. There was no response because they did not monitor the account.

We are most responsive on our official support channel which is [email protected], WhatsApp and Messenger live chat.
