Appears to be a good deal.

Officeworks were hesitant to price match (manager said because the Amazon listing says nothing about warranty).

JB HI FI online price match was granted almost instantly when I asked. Picked them up yesterday by Click&Collect no issues.

Possible match at TGG, can't say if it would be honoured.

  • This one or the one with Alexa compatible what’s the difference . Cheers

    • Not got a clue other than the product numbers and price history for each. HD450BT vs HD450SE

    • Almost identical, the only difference is that one has alexa one doesn't but has google and Siri.
its cheaper because its only comes in one colour and not as versatile cos of alexa, while with siri and google you can pretty much use your phone for voice assistant.

      • Is this first hand experience, I noticed the SE has mention of Siri & Google in the description.

        • I read some reviews/forums as I was curious. It seems the SE model is a real pain to switch from Alexa to either of the others. People have managed to switch to Google Assistant but I've only seen people asking for help and no resolutions posted when using iOS and switching to Siri.

Bought a pair of these second-hand about 5 years ago and they still work perfectly using them almost every day. Never had an issue with them.

    • same here. 5 years, still going, change ear pads once. good for pop music and movies.
downside, ANC is terrible, works fine in the office but not everyday commuting or travelling.
      voice call below average.
it is good budge BT headphone

    This is a great price!

That said, if you have a big head and or big ears, not super super comfortable.

  • I have the 350's and theres an error - if i leave the house and lose wifi it will announce this fact continuously requiring a hard reset.

Wonder why the in store reps are so hesitant to price match, as if they are loosing money from their own pocket
Whereas online chat/call of OW would have done that smoothly

    • my local always refuses to pricematch, drive 12 minutes to the next store and they will pricematch for me.

      • How much time and fuel are you willing to use to save a few dollars?

  • I bought the SE last week. Exactly the same as the 450BT other than the fact the SE is an Amazon exclusive and is Alexa compatible.

The ear pads are a bit small so, be mindful of that. Otherwise an excellent product with exceptional sound for the price.

    • So the SE works with Siri, Google as well?

      • See my post above

  • anyone got any recommendations on a cheap bluetooth headset? my go to were bluedio but they've disappeared

not really for music, more for podcasts while doing menial tasks at home

    looking for:
    - cheap
    - secure on head
    - good battery life
    - play/pause button
    - range

leaning towards the $25 ankos atm, theres also the very cheap p47 on ebay which cost around $12

    any others worth considering?

    im all ears

    • jesus mate… theres being thrifty and then just being a tighta#$. Splurge on some decent ones.

  • Used JB HIFI chat to get them for $130 which was super easy. Click & collect (last pair from Essendon DFO).

Got lucky at OW. He price matched with the one listed at $110 on Amazon so got it for $104.

  • I have a pair of the HD 450SE $110 deal and I think the soundcore by Anker Space Q45 are more comfortable so that makes them better in my mind.
