  • I wonder how thick it is.

    • Also wondering!

    • There is a ‘M’ on the product picture. I’m assuming medium. I have one already; the medium is a fraction higher than I’d assess as medium, but the sink a bit after a while too.

      • +1

It appears thin on the photo, but without thickness in cms it is hard to assess that. I am after an ultra thin pillow, there are some like that on Amazon but a lot more expensive. But I am not buying it just to find out it is too thick and send it back.

    • That’s what he said

Same price at bigw if you have one nearby to see

  • 3 stars on tontines’s website . 50/50 split of people who love / hate
Average score of meh isss alright maybe ?

    • +1

Probably. What I’ve learned from my pillow search is that reviews are no indication of whether you’ll love it. It’s such an individual thing. I’ve tried pillows that many people rave about and they haven’t been right.

      • Exactly. I bought 2 of these a couple of weeks ago when they were $26ea (BigW). My wife loves it, I hated it. To me it was way too hard.

Also it's a lot thicker than you'd think from the photos and even in person before it's taken out of the packaging. We couldn't get one into our regular pillow case and my wife ended up buying bigger pillow cases. So you may need to factor that into the cost.

  • Of course all reviews are anecdotal and only an indicator of quality or fit .
But often it’s all you have vs the the description from the seller , when you look to buy .
Having fairly negative reviews on the actual manufacturer’s website is a good enough indication for me to look elsewhere .
Plenty of cheap overpriced pillows out there ,

  • Heaps of Tontine versions at Harris Scarfe around $30.

The one in this post is $25

    • Is there a way to get free delivery from HS? I checked this and they wanted $10 delivery.

      • Spend over $95

        • Thank you, but I only needed one pillow, not 4 😄 Given it's so much cheaper, a good one to remember for a future pillow purge and replacement.
