                    • @USER DC: I've also just went to live chat and got my order cancelled. I did pay with a debit visa card, so hopefully you they can get your cancellation sorted out

                    • @USER DC: Just got confirmation email that order has been redunded.

                      Meanwhile, still has not tracked

    • I know you've since said you aren't going to take the chance, so are cancelling your Boost orders… but out of interest, did any of your purchases track overnight?

I signed up to TBC specifically for this promo… and only one of my five purchases has tracked, so not a good first experience!

I placed the first four orders by clicking on the 'Go To Deal' button in the Ozbargain iOS app, which takes you to the TCB webpage. I started each new order from the TCB landing page. For the fifth order, I decided to use the TCB iOS app.

Not really sure which order actually successfully tracked (webpage or app) or whether just random (given the confirmation email timestamp).

Now looks like to need to follow your lead and cancel my Boost orders (but how to determine which four orders weren't tracked?) or take it up with TCB support.

yes will have to take up with TCB support I have zero faith in boost mobile refunds/cancellation department.
Have already submitted missing cashback claim and will see their response, (they should AT LEAST give out 100% of money, aka 3x $12, if they are not budging to give full advertised rate of $23 each, and I just avoid them with boost for future (CR has been most reliable always with boost comparetively to all))

        • Got my refund AND they posted the Sim too (got tracking email)

  • I was able to purchase 6 before “something went wrong”, but only 5 tracked like most people. Interestingly, I never got an order confirmation from Boost for the 3rd purchase - has anyone else who purchased 6 only had 5 order confirmations?

    • I got all 6 order confirmation emails, and like everyone else, only 5 out of 6 got tracked.

  • Paid $86.68, tracked $102.23. $15.55 profit from PureVPN ✌️

  • I want Purevpn bit what's this minimum 31 days subscribed?

  • is this a new company ? has this company ever paid out their cashbacks ? anyone ?

Yep, ive withdrew over 2k so far

I've never heard of this company, I've only ever used Cashrewards. i might have to sign up then. thank you.

        • I have used TopCashBack US since 2012.

All tracked with topcashback. Hopefully it will all be ok. Got cashback earlier in the year from another deal successfully.

  • Being overseas, I couldn't get this deal to work for me. Tried various permutations. Hopefully everyone collects their cashback.

  • +1

Boost not tracked, not going to risk it with purevpn

  • -2

    Tracking only $5 cash back?

    • what time you bought it ?? like less than 5 mins before midnight ??

      • -1

Not entirely sure… Maybe I was too late… Who knows… Before it was marked expired.

        • +1

I was watching the cashback rate… reverted to lower amount a few minutes after midnnight.

        • This is a community - for things like end date/marking deal as expired unless specified in the deal it is up to us to report it as expired.

Just because it isn't marked as expired doesn't mean it hasn't expired. You still need to do your due diligence and read the TCB website details to see if it is still $35 cashback before you buy it.

          • @CodeXD: he purchased the morning after. Thread didn't have expiry as multiple deals initially.

            • @Feeblely: and also the fact that they need to click via TCB which will also clearly state the cashback amount

    • -2

Wow. What a negger. Bought early this morning where it's supposed to be $35 cashback but later today only saw $5 cashback recorded.

First time Booster. Anyone have tips for ‘something went wrong’ on activation? I’m trying to activate the first of 5 and it’s already not working. Tried with and without logging into existing Telstra account and also verifying passport and drivers license. Not looking promising…

    • Update: I activated the first 3 by live chat

  • Boost still not tracked

    • Must be lost by now.

    • +1

in the same boat too, lodge missing CB report with them.

      • Thanks, I lodged as well

  • Anyone received their SIM yet?

    • Yep I received mine Friday

    • Still no sim delivered here. Checked address is fine and everything. Longest wait I have ever had for a boost sim, hopefully not lost (AusPost)

      • Had ordered 4, received 2 but rest 2 are still not delivered:(

  • Received sim in the post. Do you need to activate the sim using the same email address as the one registered with TCB? Otherwise how would TCB know it has been activated?

    • +1

I don't think it matters. I also don't think they even have a way of knowing if its activated or not. I received cashback from the other cashback sites and still have not activated the sims.

      • Yes, I never have read a rejected cashback comment due to unactivated, but only untracked, claimed, rejected.

  • Has anyone gotten past the pending stage? Also do I need to activate all the sims? I don't want to activate all of them yet, but don't want to lose the cashback

Merged from Topcashback boost deal from 27/02 not yet paying out

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with the Topcashback boost deal. It was actually meant to have payed out yesterday, but still no sign. Pretty sure they all tracked but no payout yet.

    • -3

What did they say when you asked them?

      • they said post of ozbargain with a poll

if enough exposure is given then would pay. if people dont vote
        no deal

    • +2

They are still in pending for me, and I've already contacted the Rep about this too

      • It says 12 weeks, but maybe its not exactly 12 weeks. The other deals worked perfectly. I really hope this one does too.

      • Still pending for me too!

    • Yep still pending for me too which is why I came searching for answers. Does contacting the Rep here help? I feel like they're never here and the whole of TCB site needs some serious upgrade, most orders don't properly track first of all and then even for those that were tracked, its like forever pending even after the supposed timeframe.

        @drspy00 @YeemaiI @djones145 @FDA2021 @lars06 @firestint

Hey guys. We are aware that cashback from this deal is still pending in member accounts. We have already reached out to Boost to have them approved and expect a resolution early next week. Please bear with us, and thank you as always for your patience 🙏

        • Thankyou! Appreciate your help.

          • @drspy00: Anytime 👌

            • @tightarse: My Transaction has just been declined by Topcashback. My order was successfully tracked and I used the Boost12 code, which was an approved code. Are you able help @tightarse?

        • Thank you @tightarse. Your first TCB deal brought me to this thread so I could see this comment. Always legendary service. TA.

  • +2

And my cashback got declined, RIP

  • +3

Why did all of our cashbacks get declined?

    • +5

Please don’t worry. Have messaged the team in the UK about this. Not sure what happened. Will hopefully have an answer by the morning. Thank you.

      • All mine got declined too.

        • +6

Yes, we’re now aware that all orders from this deal show declined by Boost. As I said, please don’t worry. We’re not sure why, and the team is investigating as we speak. Please stay tuned.

          • @tightarse: Interestingly, my cashback was pending and overdue but as soon as I enquired about it, it was declined.
I hope it will be honoured and credited.

            • @bob19: Same as mine. Chased, got a typical reply of 12 weeks waiting and boom, 70$ which were tracked disappeared 🤔
Hope TA keeps their A, tight in UK.

            • +2

@bob19: Just happened to be the same timeframe as the ~90 days the cashback should have been approved.

  • FYI. Mine too got declined

  • Commenting to keep in the loop.

  • Mine got declined like everyone else

  • +1

    Looks like everyone's was declined!

Good to see TA is already on the case. :)

Hey guys. Letting you know that the status of your Boost transactions should now have reverted back to pending whilst we investigate what is going on. We’ve contacted Boost overnight and will update you here as we know more. We’ve also paused Boost on our site for the time being. You’ll please need to be patient a little longer. Thank you.

    • TA, Boost is still showing up on the site with cashback up to $8.50.

Is it just you in Australia right now, and everyone else in the UK? Having local support or at least a team that works in time zone that is closer to ours is crucial.

      • +1

Hi and thanks. Yep, I'm the only one in AU and will try to help in as close to real time as possible. I re-enabled Boost a couple of hours as I have an update which I'll be sharing shortly. Thank you.

Hi again guys. Latest update here. Thanks.

      • Thanks for the updates TA, you are a legend.

        • Pleasure :)

  • +17

OK guys, I have an update. Posting this here for clarity and transparency, as I always do.

Late yesterday afternoon, the transactions from this promo automatically moved to declined at network level due to a minor issue at Boost's end. Once I started receiving messages around midnight stating that transactions were being declined, I locked into panic mode and pinged the UK team around the urgency of getting the transactions moved back to pending to buy us time to contact Boost and work out what is going on. We achieved this around 2:30am. We also shot off an email to Boost.

Boost has since confirmed that all buyers of the SIMs from this deal will be approved provided the SIM was activated within 30 days of purchase (per the terms of the agreement). Telstra (on Boost's behalf) will shortly begin the process of checking SIM activations at which time they will advise Boost which orders are to be approved, and which are to be declined. We have absolutely no control over this process.

So in short the payment delay for this promo is due to Telstra now enforcing Boost's 30-day activation rule. If you've not activated your SIM per the terms, your transaction/s will be declined. Boost is unsure at this stage just how long the validation process by Telstra will take, but I will update you as soon as I know more. If you activated the SIM within 30 days, you have nothing to worry about.

Thank you for your understanding and patience. TA.
