    • $15 shipping to metro aus.
    • $13.45 to me.. not sure why you’re getting $15 to metro when I’m apparently ‘middle of bumf**k nowhere’?

$136 for a 12cm car, someone has been into the cookies again

    • +4

Yes it's overpriced but the design is a little more intricate than a Hyundai i30

      • +3

they must scale down all that technology into nano sizes, there years of engineering effort put into this.
I'm assuming that this model as all the functions of a real car. hence the cost

    • +3

Steer clear of Warhammer miniatures then, you'll have a heart attack lol

      • Well you think we would all be use to it, you know, Coles and Woolworths downsizing their products. And Coles took the p*ss when the brought out those Coles minis, just getting us all use to it!

    • That used to be the price of the 1:18 ones, which are now going got $250-$300. Madness.

      • Thats also a much larger model, but yes the price is absolutely ridiculous.

  • +1

Is this the same model? It looks like the same picture of the car and the same size.

It’s not - they are different brands and this is is more detailed than the one you listed (with different tires too and as well including the driver figure)

    • +3
      • Hey, so why is that one $9 vs $25 in the OP?

        • Bburago is known to be cheaper and less detailed than the Spark models. Quick glance you can see slick tyres vs tread, and the OP one actually has a driver in the cockpit. Bburago you can give to the kids to play with, but you wouldn't give them the Spark model

    1/43 Scale 3.5-5 inches / 8-12 cm
    No thanks

    • +2

      That's what she said

  • Damn Danny Ric’s McLaren 1:18 model from $304 to $73 is a tempting impulse purchase.

  • +3

Just traded in my car, then realised there's no baby seats. F$%#

  • Shipping is insane at this store

    • Try to post 201g item from here to some other country, then you know postage is cheap in this site ?

      • Try to buy a real F1 car, then you know 1:43 scale car is cheap in this site ?

        • Are we talking about shipping here or the car?

  • Does it stack with the 10% (SAS10F1STORE) ?

    • I applied the code on a $20 t shirt. The code got accepted..and it did NOTHING.

      Code should be Hamilton24

  • +2

    $0.99 fee? For what?

  • Is this the same car at HobbyCo?

Edit: Doesn't appear to be the same. However it's listed as $9 on the F1 website $20 at HobbyCo.

  • Even if "different brand" or packaged different ly, def. prob out of the same Chinese factory.

One stated "resin", the others "plastic"
    ..all the same.

  • I was at Sydney QVB building over last weekend (level 3 from memory). There is a hobby store selling the same brand/model for $20 (reduced from $25).

    • +1

The ones you saw in Hobbyco is from Bbburago while the brand for this deal is Spark (which is hobby grade).

      • Thank you for noting the difference :)

  • I guess the premium priced one has better detail compare to the 9 dollar one. One obvious difference I can spot straight way is the tyre on these 20ish model is much more refined compare to cheaper one.

    • I don't think it's more detailed just different tyres, slicks vs inters

      • It is more detailed like you could see the difference if you look into the front wings and all.

Roses are red, Haases are white, no no no Michael, that was SO not right!!!

  • dang off the RRP i thought it was bigger than 1:43

  • Holy moly, 124 for a 1/43? Tell em they're dreaming.

    Country of origin: China

    • +1

      Did you expect United Kingdom?

      • +1

No,US/Japan for the price of $136,maybe $50 for UK

        • Have you ever purchase any figure/model from Japan? They are all made in China

          • -1

@pq8382: Yes,If I purchase from Japan for $10 Id expect made from 3rd country but $136 from Japan you expect all made in China?

            • @yuisakas: LOL, you clearly have no idea how the figure world works. Even those $500+ figures are made in China in 95% of cases. You must be delusional if you expect a $136 F1 figure to be made anywhere other than China.

    • lol, what you expect? Pretty much every resin/plastic figure nowday are made from China. Even if you use 3d printer, they are made in China as well

If anyone is interested I saw a bunch of Sparks and Minichamps 1:18 F1 models on sale yesterday at Games World floating around the $150-$200 mark. Claiming they were half price but I've never bought one before to know the going rate

  • Thanks, bought Red Bull and Mclaren!

  • Attended the AGP last weekend and the cost of merchandise was astronomical. $90 for baseball caps and bucket hats. Tried to talk my son out of a red bull bucket hat to no avail. And yes they were selling by the bucketload. What cost of living crisis?

Anyway, just picked up a several bucket hats, baseball cap and Ferrari t shirt for less than what my son paid for 1.

    • F1 merchandise has always been astronomically expensive - especially at GPs.

  • I thought this was 1:18. Was just about to pull the trigger, thankfully I did not. 1:43 just annoys me.

  • Die cast model available for $9 + Delivery https://f1store3.formula1.com/en/red-bull-racing/oracle-red-…

  • On a seperate note. Does anyone know where I can find a redbull jacket or overalls? Kid and adult sizes both. Nephew wants to dress as Max and Checo for Halloween.

    • Rebel Sport sell Redbull kids zip hoodie

You’ll be waiting a long time for the Alpine to arrive.
