Still cant believe people are paying $400+ for 7 year old hardware with minor improvments over the years.

      • A phone can run Switch games at this point

        • Except for one small issue where Nintendo will remove the repo and apk from github

        • The processing power of the lowest end phone is 2024 is more capable in terms of hardware than the switch

Fun fact kiddo, consoles use to decrease in cost the older they got. It’s only the last few generations this has stopped becoming the norm.

        • You can first blame covid that disrupted the whole supply chain. Its like the whole world blipped in terms of technology and hopefully this will change in the next few years.

If people keep giving nintendo what they want, we wont see a new model anytime soon.

Your average Switch customer at this point is an aging millennial parent who has completely given up with keeping up with technology.

You can tell this by every SD Card deal having a comment like “will this work on the Switch? The world is too confusing now and I can’t figure it out by Googling”.

Can’t wait for the Switch 2, for which they will simply re-release every Wii-U game and pretend it’s a new game (again)!

Mario Kart 8 Ultra Mega Super Edition!!!!!!!

  • If I buy this, what do I need to pretend I bought an Aussie one? Just change the language to English, and put a travel adapter on the power socket? Or can you just plug another USB-C power adapter into the Switch?

I bought one in Japan last month, It will ask for Language on boot and a regular usb c charger is fine.

  • Hi,

    I am considering buying this.
Since it's from Japan, I expect it has plug type.
    Has anyone received the item?

Would you mind giving us your review?
