Does Paying Zip Pay Work for Citibank Prestige Spending Requirements?

I was thinking of getting the Citibank Prestige card but I don't think I will be able to hit the spending requirements without using zip pay to do BPAY (planning on using it to pay off my HECS or for super contributions). Has any one used this method to hit the $10,000 spend requirement? or is there a better method for hitting the spending limit I am unaware of? I just wanted to check since I don't think I can hit the spending requirement otherwise (I don't really want to buy $10,000 in gift cards either).

    I do use zip pay to pay the likes of ATO to earn points. So I can only assume the answer is yes but don't take my word for it.

    Are there any big bills you can pre pay, or buy giftcards (all on top of your regular spend)

    Do you Zip Pay or Zip Money to make payments to ATO ? Zip Money doesnt seem to accept credit card as a method of repayment, and Zip Pay doesnt allow BPAY to ATO. I'm confused as to how I can pay ATO via Zip and still earn credit card points….?

    Hi, has anyone tried zip to pay ATO recently? I’m having issues it says it’s error when paying ATO. It worked fine yesterday but it doesn’t got through today.

      Made a BPAY payment to ATO via Zip Pay successfully just now.

        It might work but will it contribute to eligible spend?

          They've always earned points on my statements and qualified towards minimum spends.
