Looking for Recommendations for Photo Printers

Just wondering if anyone has recommendation for photo printer where:

A. Ideally send photo directly from the phone
B. It's economical to replace cartridge and buying the paper. Not sure how much does it roughly work out per photo.

You see lots of them portable version on Amazon with high reviews. However, not clear on cost to replace cartridge and paper.

  • if you mean you just wanted to do 6 x 4's or similar, canon selphy for me has been great - depends on what you define as economical - you'll never beat like 10-15c prints from harvey norman / kmart/ bigw.

    • Thanks. Yeah doesn't need to be 10-15c. Its ok to pay some premium for convenience. You still don't want to pay $1 per photo either.

How much does selphy work out per photo including ink and paper?

Do you have the CP1500 or the compact one (QX10)?

      • its a little under 50c ea

        Canon KP-108IN S 108 sheets @ amazon $49 delivered.
        Gets cheaper now and then.
Its paper and ink set, so are designed to run out together.

        cp1500
i think i paid about 184, less 50 cashback and a free canon tote bag which was actually exceedingly nice for a freebie

super easy to use - app is free, and easy to use and intuitive - anyone can use it.
because it only does 1 size, theres no guess work involved - it just works and can do it from tablet/phone.
we used it a few times for kids birthdays now and now and then to print out some photos for fridge or cards etc. worth it imo.
