IPL Personal Hair Removal Device

Hey all, lately I've been looking for an IPL hair removal device of a reasonable price, but I'm having trouble selecting one.

I find that the price can vary from 30-700 Buckaroos. Most of the 30 buck ones are from AliExpress or similar, so I don't really expect much from those. However, some of the 100 bucko ones come from reasonable stores and have 4.5+ star reviews on average.

I'd rather only spend the 100 bucks if it gets the job done, but what are OZbargains thoughts on this?

    Electrolysis machines return far better results!

    My partner went Epilady > IPL machines (she tried 6 from $100 to $500) > Electrolysis and there is only one form that works and has so far been permanent ;)

      Pretty dark. Public and underarm.

        You need to research thoroughly.

        Look for a specfic facebook group for your nationality and seek opinions.

        As the laser cannot determine between dark skin and dark hair.

    I did a mildly intensive investigation of this topic a few months before and found that basically you get what you pay for, and that Braun/Philips reliability/effectiveness is markedly (though anecdotally) better.

      Those seem to go for around $400. Do you know of any good deals on at the moment?
