If you don't need over a 1,000W inverter, this is pretty good value given it's almost 1kw in battery and includes the box, cables, inverter, cool wireless phone charging thing.
Much better value than this deal here.

i was looking at the Bluetti but the fans on the unit and even the power supply always run, even if the power cord isn't connected to the unit!

    • They don't turn off when not in use?

      • I was watching as youtube video and when the powerpack wasn't even charging the unit, it wasn't even connected, the fan was still running.

Good price for this great unit. I've owned one for a year and no complaints other than the screen not showing the exact charge percentage and no fast charging. It's the perfect size to keep in your SUV for overnight off-grid camping. The LiFePo4 batteries are good for 3,500 charge cycles. I've paired mine with a 200W flexible solar panel that charges it at around 165W on a sunny day. AC charges it at 198W. https://imgur.com/a/HpuGCZU

That's why I went with the new AC180, has 1400w fast charging. Figured it'd be good since you can just find a powerpoint and leave it there for an hour while having lunch.

The AC180 is a superior unit and worth the extra $500 if you have it. If not, EB70 is a great way to enter the portable power station market.

I reckon, especially since getting an entry level not dodgy PSW inverter costs so much once you go over 1kw.
Looking at getting a VoltX 200ah Battery or 2 100ah ones later on to be able to act as a second battery for this, I know it introduces a bit of DC to DC loss but way cheaper and can just run an independent inverter/12v appliances if you don't want the loss.

  • Dankpods reckons these make a stink smell (fragrance?) even after 6 months use.

    • Stink smell?

        • That's a different model, don't think they are all the same.
Sounds like where he is leaving dust is getting in through the vents and burning, like when you turn on a heater thats been off for ages. Usually warehouses are full of dust.

AC60 and B80 have just been released:

    • True, but I think this represents better value+the B80 can connect to the EB70 if you want that kind of secondary battery (personally I think just having an eBay secondary wouldn't be a horrible idea)

  • Does EB70 have UPS bypass mode I need to power my cpap

    • Nope
