@wordplay: Why not now? You seem like a comedian.

              • @node modules: I think once they get electricity down there, they can get the NBN piped in. Not sure Netflix will work being geo-located to Australia though 😂

Is this good? Pretty sure I get same from my local coles for cheaper lol

Pretty sure Coles cooked bbq chickens are 1kg (for memory), Oporto chickens are 1.3kg.

Smaller chicken $12.00, then throw in the basic 2 x Coles dips (in my opinion are disgusting) @ $4.80, 2 pita’s @ $4.40 = $21.20 minus the hot chips as I don’t think Coles do them.

I know where I would rather go! God I must be bored tonight

      • Coles homebrand tzatziki is alright, much better than the Aldi brand

I had an Oporto burger today for the first time in 20 years. It was awful and I fully regret it.

    • That’s your first mistake, process chicken in their burgers are disgraceful

Oporto food is terribly bland. Thought id give it another go after all these years. Tasted exactly as I remember and not in a good way. It's really surprising that they are still going.

      Better than maccas grilled chicken

  • Ordered yesterday near closing time. They ran out of whole chicken and only had 3 quarters left. Mgr offered to replace with 5 pcs of crispy chicken strips. Not bad.

  • There was nothing obviously wrong with mine but somehow it was really disappointing and just wasn’t how I remembered it from over a year ago or so. Something about the recipe or quality/type of ingredients used maybe. Cooked and presented fine but just somehow not delicious and even a bit gross. Felt and tasted similar to someone buying a supermarket cooked chicken and basting it with mild chilli sauce after it was cooked. That was probably one thing that stood out to me was the flavour seemed surface level only and the chicken by itself is unremarkable.

    • That's because the chicken is pre-cooked. When you select the sauce they brush it on and put it back on the grill.

      • I thought they had it ready a bit too quickly. I thought because they maybe just always keep a couple chickens of each flavor ready instead of cooking to order every time.
